Hotel Policies

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment (including vaping) and any room found to have been smoked in is subject to a smoking fee of no less than $250 + tax. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately.

A valid credit card must be presented at check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $50 per night for incidentals.

DEBIT CARD USERS: There is a $50 PER NIGHT authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including, but not limited to, food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a pending charge and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization will be released within 7–10 business days after checkout, depending on your banking institution.

Your furry friends are welcome at Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown. Pets are not permitted in public areas or food-service areas, with the exception of the Adams Table patio. Pets must always be leashed when walking through public spaces. The hotel does not assume liability for a guest’s pet or its action while at the hotel. Pets are not permitted to be left alone in a guest room. Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property.

Pet Fee

For stays of 1 to 6 nights, the fee is $100, regardless of the duration ($100 total).

For stays exceeding 6 nights, there is an additional deep cleaning fee of $100 ($200 total).

For stays exceeding 30 nights, please contact the hotel.

Weight Limits

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under are permitted. Two dogs may be allowed in a room, provided that their combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds. Pets exceeding these limits are at the hotel’s discretion.

The safety, wellness, and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is our top priority. In an effort to respect our guest’s privacy and ensure their comfort, we have adjusted standard daily guestrooms housekeeping services to provide service every other day during your stay. Daily housekeeping service can be requested at the hotel during check-in or by calling the Host Stand 24 hours in advance for service the next day. In an effort to ensure your safety and wellbeing, periodic safety and wellbeing checks will still occur at Hyatt Place Phoenix/ Downtown.
