Hotel Policies

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment (including vaping) and any room found to have been smoked in is subject to a smoking fee of no less than $250 + tax. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately.

A valid credit card must be presented at check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $50 per night for incidentals.

DEBIT CARD USERS: There is a $50 PER NIGHT authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including, but not limited to, food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a pending charge and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization will be released within 7–10 business days after checkout, depending on your banking institution.

Your furry friends are welcome at Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown. Pets are not permitted in public areas or food-service areas. Pets must always be leashed when walking through public spaces. The hotel does not assume liability for a guest’s pet or its action while at the hotel. Pets are not permitted to be left alone in a guest room. Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property.

Pet Fee

1-5 nights: $75

6+ nights: $150

Only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under are permitted. Two dogs may be allowed in a room, provided that their combined weight does not exceed 75 pounds. Pets exceeding these limits are at the hotel’s discretion.
