Pet Policy

Dog Policy

Your furry friends are always welcome at Hyatt Place Ocean City/Oceanfront. The Town of Ocean City does not permit dogs on the beach or boardwalk from May 1 through September 30.

Weight Limits

We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room.

Fees

  • November 1 - March 31 (off season): $100 for up to seven nights
  • April 1 - October 31 (peak season): $200 for up to seven nights
  • For stays between seven - 30 nights an additional $100 deep cleaning fee

To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, following the departure of a guest and their dog, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep-clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens; we also fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable dog/cleaning fee to the account during check-in.

 

Guidelines for Dog Owners

All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Dogs are not allowed in the food service areas or the pool. Your dog must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room, or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.

Minimum Age Policy

The minimum age to reserve a guestroom is 21 years old. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.

Credit Card Policy

A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $50 per night for incidentals.DEBIT CARD USERS: There is a $50 PER STAY authorization placed on your card at check in to account for any incidental charges you may incur including but not limited to food & beverage charges. Funds will be held as a ‘pending charge’ and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within 7-10 business days after check out, depending on your banking institution.
