Good for 1-2 night stay
This hotel is convenient to public transportation but the rooms and bathroom are extremely small. All the rooms are the same, I was told at the front desk. Front desk staff was friendly, the rest not so much. It's a good place to stay if you are not going to be in your room much. There are places to eat with in walking distance that were good.

Shower was Terrible
The location is great, but the room was extremely small and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. After walking all day, we really needed a decent shower, and honestly, that shower was awful. It was barely more than a drip. Absurd for the price we paid. I won't be coming back.

Great Location!
Good hotel to stay in and near by Times Square! Good breakfast options to choose from and staff are friendly. Book at least 4 weeks in advance to get good rates.

We loved it here! Great location—just a short walk to the subway and Times Square. The hotel was clean, convenient, and the service was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Getaway Weekend
Excellent experience from check in to check out. The hotel is in a great location and the staff has been trained to focus on customer service. We were checked in early at 11am without even requesting a early check in. The staff was incredible at front desk, breakfast area, security, maid service. Exceptional service! The hotel room was in great condition and extremely clean. Breakfast was included and included a lot more than your typical breakfast items. I booked and was please with the pricing considering the location being in the center of the theatre district. Our only issue was a bit of noise but I requested being near the elevator and knew the noise level is typically a bit noisier but it was still a very quiet hotel. Absolutely great experience! I would stay there again and highly recommend.

Basic experience if you want to stay closer to times square
Centrally located with times square at walking distance.. However, Rooms are small, barely fitting our suitcases. Mad rush during breakfast. Water in room is chargeable even though it is positioned as complimentary. Usually if water bottles are chargeable, they are not placed in the rooms as we experienced in other hotels. However, hyatt front desk never informed us and charged them later on our card. Not a big amount ($3 per bottlel) but we felt the intent wasn't right and bottles shouldn't have been in the room if they were chargeable.

Great once again
My stay was great, the location, cl cleanliness of the room, the size. I appreciate how quiet it is when it comes to the other guest but Im still able to hear the city noise which is what I enjoy when I visit New York, at night time it's quiet on the streets so I'm able to sleep. My yearly birthday trip was great and staying here made it better. I enjoy staying at this hotel.

Good experience in NYC
New York is a very busy city, but my experience at Hyatt was very positive. Even though the staff was busy, they were always friendly, patient, and willing to help. I never felt ignored, and they did their best to make everything easier for guests. Parking in Manhattan is difficult, especially during large events. I did not know in advance that Hyatt had partner parking garages nearby that might offer discounts, so I wish this information had been shared earlier. However, I understand that parking can fill up quickly in New York. Overall, I had a good experience and really appreciated the staff and their service.

Very Friendly / Hot Room
The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are friendly. be prepared that the breakfast is very very busy and closes ridiculously early - at 9:30 during the week. We ended up only going one day on our three day stay. The worst part of this stay was how hot our room was and it didn’t seem there was anything they could do about it. Thermostat doesn’t go lower than 68 but there’s no way it was below 70 in our room and it was very warm at night when we were trying to sleep.

Good but don't expect anything great!
I was a guest with a disability and specifically requested interconnecting rooms when booking so our family of five could stay together. Additionally, as this trip was a birthday celebration, my wife asked if the hotel could do anything to make the occasion special. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to acknowledge either request. As a loyal Hyatt guest who has stayed at properties worldwide, this first experience in NYC was deeply disappointing, making me hesitant to book with Hyatt again. During our trip, we visited the Ritz-Carlton Central Park for light birthday refreshments and were blown away by their service. While I realize the Hyatt is a 4-star property compared to the Ritz’s 5-star standard, basic acknowledgement of our requests would have made a world of difference.

Family Birthday Trip

Good Location, Decent Hotel Option.
Hotel was in a good location (garment district) just off the busiest avenues (7th & 8th) bit close enough to the heart of Times Square. While hotel was clean, there were just too many people both inside and out the hotel at times. The lobby literally became a traffic jam of sorts at certain times of the day, particularly morning.

One of a few hotels, Without resort fees
When I discovered this Hotel three years ago, it is the only place I stay in New York City when I visit friends. Beware in many large cities that the hotels advertise reasonable rates online but then when you book and arrive you find out, they have a resort fee for each day up to $100 a day for Ameneties you don’t even use. THIS hotel does not do that and it’s one reason why they are always very full so book way ahead. the breakfast is great. I would recommend staying on lower floors when the elevators are difficult to get up or down.

Crowded and Worn out
The hotel has way too many rooms relative to its common areas. Breakfast lines are long, and food items continually run out, so you have to go back several times. Too many people means elbowing and shoving and cutting, and it's just a miserable experience. The hotel laundry is not on-site, so when the delivery was late, we ended up with no towels. When towels arrived, they were delivered to the room around 8 pm. Then we had them delivered again around midnight, waking us up. We ended up with one room with no hot water and another that was scalding. The overall condition of the rooms was run-down. Plugs are worn out and loose, fixtures marred, baseboards and carpet near the end of their life.

False advertisement
I paid for a high floor and a city view. Which I should have gotten. Need to take the city view photos out of the website. It is false advertisement to have city views which I paid for and didn't get it. This is the 2nd time this has happened to my family with Hyatt hotels. Maybe is just me being Latino and having my last name Garcia. It seems like I'm always having this problem at Hyatt hotels.
