Our Food Philosophy

At Hyatt Centric Melbourne, sustainability is at the core of our culinary philosophy across our food and beverage outlets. We proudly work with local farmers and small producers across regional Victoria and Australia to source the freshest, seasonal ingredients, so that our dishes support more sustainable food production and local communities. Our commitment extends beyond sourcing to reducing waste—through our partnership with Bardee, we upcycle food waste into fertilizer and protein products, helping reduce impacts on landfill and emissions. We also support local pollination through our adopted honeybee colony with Backyard Honey, contributing to a healthier ecosystem.
