Parking

Take advantage of our paid on-site parking at Hyatt Centric Cambridge, offering parking for all cars including electric vehicles and accessible parking with step-free access. Car parking is available on site and is offered on a first come, first served basis. It is not possible to pre-book this in advance. The cost is £20 per night. There is an overflow public car park 7 minute’s walk from the hotel should the car park be full. Car parking is payable at a pay machine on departure. For directions to the car park, use the What3Words ///family.reach.gums.

Convenient and Accessible Parking 

Madingley Park and Ride parking is available only a nine-minute walk from the property. The bus takes 12 minutes to get to central Cambridge and only 6 minutes to Bridge Street.

EVC is available at the hotel. We have 20 spaces available on a first come, first served basis. To use this facility, you need to pre-book your space with reception.centriccambridge@hyatt.com, fees apply. Once parked, you’ll need to download the Monta app and scan the QR code on the front of the charger which will link you directly to the charger that you’re using. We use ‘Type 2’ plugs for anyone that needs to have adapters etc.

Taxis are on hand 24 hours a day, and you can be in the city centre within a few minutes. The hotel is within easy reach of local road links, including the M11 and A14. Cambridge is a 10-minute bike ride from the hotel via a dedicated cycle path into the city.

Cambridge Transit Options

The Universal bus service links Eddington with West Cambridge, the city center, the train station and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, including Addenbrookes, running every 15 minutes Monday to Friday and every 20 minutes at the weekend. The standard single journey fare is £2.00 and the bus stops right outside the hotel. Hyatt Centric Cambridge has bus passes available, upon request, for a single journey, subject to availability.

Cambridge is a 10-minute bike ride from the hotel via a dedicated cycle path into the city. We have a limited number of bicycles available for use* and a bicycle center to store your own bikes. Get in touch with us before your visit or speak to one of the team at reception upon check in. E-bikes and e-scooters can be found around Cambridge, including in Eddington. *deposit fees may apply.

London Stansted Airport is one of Britain’s busiest airports, situated northeast of London. Flying into Stansted Airport and heading to Cambridge by train? You're in luck. The train from Stansted Airport to Cambridge takes just 28mins on the fastest services. Coming by car from the airport? It take just 40 minutes.

London Stansted Airport

Cambridge train station is the main station serving the city of Cambridge in the east of England. You can get a direct train from London in as little as 48 minutes on the fastest services. Other cities with direct connections to Cambridge include Birmingham, Norwich, Peterborough and Leicester. To get to Eddington from here, you can use one of the e-scooters or bikes outside the station, which will take around 20 minutes or you can get the U bus that will drop you right outside of our hotel.
