Climate Change and Water Conservation

At Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur, sustainability is a core focus. We’ve implemented energy-efficient measures including 100% LED lighting, smart motion sensors, and double-glazed windows. To conserve water, all guest rooms are equipped with aerators that reduce water flow without compromising pressure.

Waste and Circularity

We are committed to reducing waste through practical initiatives. We use a smart food waste management system, to track and analyze food waste. Chefs review this data and work on measures to reduce food waste. Single-use plastics have been replaced with alternatives such as responsibly sourced wood for key cards, reusable glass bottles for drinking water, and large-format bathroom amenities. Water refill stations are available on every floor, enabling guests to reuse their in-room glass bottles and helping us avoid more than 15,000 plastic bottles annually.
