Excellent Luxury Hotel Experience in the Heart of Bangkok. Highly Recommended!
Having visited Bangkok many times over the past few years, this was my first stay at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. I have traditionally stayed with Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton hotels, but on this occasion, I decided to try the Grand Hyatt, and I must say the experience exceeded my expectations. From the overall upkeep and elegance of the property to the quality of its amenities, comfort, customer service and exceptional location, the hotel delivered a truly wonderful experience. I would comfortably rate it 10 out of 10. What impressed me most was how well the hotel maintained its sense of luxury, comfort and hospitality. The location is simply fantastic, with excellent access to shopping, dining and everything that makes Bangkok such an exciting city to visit. The hotel is currently undergoing some upgrades, and I can only imagine that once these are completed, the overall experience and luxurious feel of the property will be elevated even further. I am already planning my next visit to Bangkok in December 2026, and without hesitation, the Grand Hyatt Erawan will be my hotel of choice again. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok who appreciates luxury, comfort, excellent hospitality and, most importantly, location, location, location! Service at its finest
Our stay here was pleasant and satisfactory. The bellmen were so efficient and super helpful with our bags. The front desk team was always available with whatever questions and concerns we had. Want to especially thank Champ, the front desk associate, who helped check my family of 4, into our hotel rooms and informed me of the typical procedure to print out travel documents our family needed in order to proceed to our next destination. Also want to recognize your dining room manager, Ms Phonmee, for extending our family a personal apology as well as a hand written note recognizing some deficiencies in service during breakfast on our last day there. The personal apology alone was especially touching and sincere. Will definitely recommend this place to others traveling into the Bangkok area given its ideal location for all the shops nearby.

Great hotel in Bangkok
An outstanding hotel, perfectly clean, amazing facilities and wonderful staff who went above and beyond. The pool area is an oasis. The location across from large malls was perfect for us.

A Hyatt Globalist Review The Team at Grand Hyatt did an excellent job with my stay. This made our Thailand stay very comfortable. Service was also swift when needed. I had an absolute amazing 5 day stay with pure luxury in every area. The attention to detail was pretty meticulate. Starting with the absolute spectacular lobby to its amazing connectivity. I feel Erawan is one of the best areas to visit for the first time and Hyatt is right in center of it . The access by skywalk to Centraworld and BTS really is a gamechanger. It really makes the hotel bigger as a result. Loved how close the Erawan shrine was to the Hotel. As a Globalist, I genuinely appreciated access to Grand club which was the one of the best highlights of our stay. Staff made sure we checked in directly at Grand club so not to miss happy hour . This is something I really appreciate. The Decorations in the room very lovely and thoroughly loved the refreshments offered in the room including a delicious cake. Pool was another highlight as it was an oasis in a very busy part of city. I highly recommend the jacuzzi, steam and sauna as well. Dining Highlights: •Breakfast at Lobby: The Spread was very huge. They even had Indian Breakfast offerings which my parents really appreciated. The sushi bar was a real treat and also the thai offerings. Loved the daily smoothie as well. • Grand Club: One of the biggest highlights of the trip. They had excellent offerings here, Thai and many others, good liquor offerings as well. They had good salad offerings. I felt the staff was one of the best there. Truly Appreciate the whole Grand Hyatt Team for an incredible experience and look forward to staying with them again.

Great location if you want to shop
Spacious room with a lovely decor. Great location. We were worried about the noise level with the hotel undergoing renovations but we didn't see or hear anything. Highly recommended.

Convenient location; classic hotel
Our favorite hotel when visiting Bangkok! The location is super convenient, right next to all of the major malls. The breakfast selection is very good as well. The hotel is on the older side but the rooms were well maintained and comfortable.

Excellent Highly Recommended
Our stay at the Grand Erawan Bangkok was truly a memorable experience for our family. We traveled with our two daughters (ages 10 and 16), and from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every member of the team—from the doormen and front desk staff to the Executive Lounge team and the Health Club staff—was exceptionally warm, courteous, and professional. Their genuine hospitality made us feel at home and turned our vacation into a truly special one. We especially loved the hotel's outstanding wellness facilities. The swimming pool was beautiful and relaxing, the jacuzzi and steam room were perfect after a day of sightseeing, and the gym was modern, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining every facility to the highest standard. The Executive Lounge was another highlight of our stay, offering excellent service, delicious food, and a peaceful atmosphere. Every interaction with the staff reflected their commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to make the hotel even more family-friendly by introducing a few activities or engagement programs for children. Families traveling with kids often look for experiences that keep younger guests entertained while creating lasting memories. Additionally, expanding the children's options at breakfast would be a wonderful enhancement, especially for families with younger travelers. Overall, this was an exceptional stay, and the warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality of the entire team made all the difference. Convenient hotel and great for families
The Grand Hyatt is conveniently located within walking distance to a BTS station and several malls (it was great to walk to Siam Paragon!) The facilities are decent with a grand lobby, well equipped gym, and pool. Breakfast has a good selection from made to order eggs, Chinese dishes, Indian dishes, many fresh pastries and mango sticky rice. What stands out is the service. I hadn't visited in a few years and the staff commented on this and welcomed me back. When I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday soon, the club manager sent for a cake to be delivered to our room right away. These little touches gave me a great impression and would lead me to return again.

Great location and fanstastic hospitality
Room was upgraded to better view on higher floor with connecting unit. Club access food and breakfast buffet were amazing. Staffs and chef at the restaurant were very sincere. Location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic right in the middle of everything in the downtown. Very close to the double deck red bus station and next to the Centralworld shopping mall.

Stay at Grand Hyatt Erawan
This hotel is a must stay!!! There really isn't anything bad I can say about the hotel. Our stay was Exceptional. I like a good breakfast and this hotel does an amazing breakfast. Separately, this hotel was optimally positioned by train stations; we were able to get around quite easily. Lastly, their spa was a great experience. I personally used their steam room, sauna, hot/cold tubs, and the gym.

Disappointing service
You expect outstanding service at Hyatt properties. This unfortunately didn’t happen here. We had booked our room with breakfast. On the day we were checking out we needed to have breakfast before the buffet start time. We had specified this at the time of checking in and were told that we could order from the 24 hour room service menu instead. On the day however we were informed that we would be provided with breakfast boxed instead that with have bread croissants etc. What arrived was far from Grand Hyatt quality. Two soggy waffles without any topping a green salad and 4 pieces of fruit that had been sitting around packaged in a disposable plastic box delivered in a brown paper bag. No cutlery. No napkins. Nothing. On calling room service they sent plastic cutlery in plastic sacks. I expected better service at Grand Hyatt.

Elegant Stay with Excellent Service and Perfect Location
We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The staff at the restaurant, club lounge, pool, spa, and housekeeping were all friendly and professional. Although some reviews mentioned the hotel felt old, we enjoyed its classic and elegant atmosphere. We were also worried about possible renovation noise, but our stay was very quiet and comfortable. The location was excellent, with easy access to shopping, transportation, and nearby attractions. we would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Coming home to the Grand Hyatt Erawan
Excellent location Great breakfast spread Great French restaurant Warm, kind and attentive team at the Dining room - anticipates my daily breakfast needs n very generous to offer me special meals or coffees before I left Hyatt. Bedroom very clean n always prepared my bed well in advance .. Asian hospitality always outweigh the Hyatt’s or hiltons of AU/EU/US. Asians do it better!
