Sustainability

Luxury is often measured by what we create. At Grand Hyatt Manila, we believe it is equally measured by what we choose to preserve. Situated in the heart of Bonifacio Global City, we continue to evolve with one purpose in mind: caring for today while helping shape a better tomorrow.

Whether conserving resources, supporting local producers or making mindful sourcing decisions, every action reflects our belief that meaningful hospitality creates a lasting impact.

In recognition of these efforts, Grand Hyatt Manila is an EarthCheck Bronze Benchmarked property, reflecting our ongoing journey toward more responsible hospitality.

Waste and Circularity

Smart food waste monitoring systems help our culinary team better understand preparation patterns and reduce unnecessary waste.
Since the use of our in-house food digester, ORCA OG 100, where up to 85% of our food waste is processed and diverted away from landfills each month.
Surplus food is redirected to help nourish local communities, in collaboration with Scholars of Sustenance Philippines.
Broken glass and ceramic tableware are transformed into handcrafted in-room amenities and retail items through local artisan studio Lintl.
Used soaps and linens are given a second life through community re-use initiatives.
