Gaia Spa & Fitness Centre, Grand Hyatt Istanbul's health and recreation centre, provides its guests with the exclusive use of fully equipped fitness and exercise rooms, Yoga and Pilates classes, personalized fitness programmes, sauna, steam room, Turkish bat, and outdoor swimming pool.
There are computerized and screen-monitored Life Fitness bicycles, tread mills and cross trainers as well as body building equipment. The fitness centre is decorated with plasma screens and hi-tech music systems.
At Gaia Spa & Fitness Centre, the decorative scheme reflects a concern for healthy living. There is a hammam, ornate with marble from Marmara Island, and incorporating all the characteristics of a traditional Turkish bath with its basins and massage slab.
The steam room is accompanied with an ice fountain which helps to regulate the blood circulation and strengthens the immune system.
