Collaboration with a long established restaurant, representing the Shizuoka
With our passion to share the culinary charms of Shizuoka, we have collaborated with some of the most famous and long-established restaurants in Shizuoka. This includes unagi (eel) famous in the prefecture, Chojiya," established over 400 years ago, and "Marushichi Seicha," a tea specialist with a history of over 110 years. We work hand in hand with producers who have supported the history of Shizuoka's food culture to provide our guests with a unique dining experience.

Robata Head Chef Koji Izumichi
Koji Izumichi, a seasoned sushi chef born in Shizuoka with over 25 years of culinary experience, was honored by Shizuoka Prefecture in February 2025 as a “Fujinokuni Culinary Artisan.”
Izumichi isn’t just passionate about seafood—he’s equally inspired by the flavors of vegetables and locally raised meats. Constantly honing his techniques to bring out the best in every ingredient, he also builds strong ties with producers and suppliers. “By focusing on the stories and quality behind each ingredient,” he says, “I aim to serve dishes that resonate deeper with our guests and leave a lasting impression.”

Robata OYAMA's private dining space can accommodate up to 10 guests, offering a stylish atmosphere adorned with artwork and photography inspired by motorsports and the Fuji Speedway. It is an excellent choice for social events as well as professional gatherings.
