Bringing unique cultural experiences to our guests and local visitors, Andaz Tokyo is pleased to collaborate with Japanese Origami Artist, Yuko Nishimura for its next Andaz Salon event on Thursday, November 22nd.
Skilled in the ancient art of origami and paper-folding, Nishimura has gained recognition for her solo exhibitions in Japan and the US, with her creations displayed at various hotels, renowned Japanese luxury jewelry and cosmetics houses in Tokyo.
For this special collaboration with Andaz Tokyo, Nishimura takes inspiration from the concepts of Tony Chi, one of the main designers of the hotel. Based on his themes of Origami/Memory, Nishimura’s creation expresses Japanese culture through paper art, seamlessly blending traditional craft with contemporary themes for a unique and truly original Christmas Tree. An inspiring way to start your holiday season, join us as we unveil this year’s Andaz Tokyo “Origami” Christmas Tree.
