Pet Policy

We are happy to welcome your traveling canine companions. 

To participate in the pet program:

There is a $100.00 charge per stay up to six nights

Inform the hotel you’ll have a pet (or pets) staying with you at least three days in advance of your arrival.

Keep in mind, only dogs weighing 50 pounds and under or two dogs under a combined weight of 75 pounds are permitted.

Pet friendly guest rooms are subject to availability.

Dogs are not allowed in restaurants or pool areas (excluding service dogs).

In the presence of a pet, the guest must be at the room to have the room serviced by Housekeeping. If both the pet and owner are not present the room will be serviced.

Be advised that your dog(s) must always be kept on a leash while on property.

 

What to Expect

Here at Hana-Maui Resort, we want you to rest assured knowing that we are committed to the healthy, safety, and wellbeing of our guests, colleagues, and community. In addition to our wide-open spaces, fresh Pacific breezes, and spacious resort layout, we have enhanced our rigorous cleaning and sanitization standards to provide each of our guests a space in which they can thrive.

Although there will be some changes to our services and amenities, we are committed to ensuring that you have an enjoyable stay. As you move around the resort, please know that the Governor of Hawaii has mandated the wearing of face masks or face coverings in all public areas. If you forget your face mask or face covering, we can provide you with one that meets government standards. We ask that you comply with all posted signage around the resort. We will continue to keep you informed of any further changes as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Please see below for additional details in terms of what you can expect when you stay with us.

 

ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE | CHECK-IN AT 4:00 P.M. DAILY

We have adopted social distancing protocols to ensure that your check-in process is as seamless and safe as possible, with minimal interaction with staff and other guests.


CONCIERGE SERVICES | DAILY

Our front desk staff has all the local tips and tricks along with great rates and reservations for activities in and around Hana. Whether you are looking for a waterfall hike, spa reservation, or dining recommendation, our friendly staff can make arrangements for you while remaining socially distant.


FRONT DESK | DAILY

Our front desk team is available to assist with your concierge needs, package pick-up, and bell services to transport luggage.


HOUSEKEEPING | OPT-IN

We are offering housekeeping daily. Before you arrive, our team of in-house cleaning professionals will clean your residence using industry-leading techniques, tools, and products in accordance with the Hyatt Global Cleanliness & Care Commitment, CDC, and WHO guidelines. Our attendants will wear face masks and gloves while servicing your room. We ask that if you choose to remain in your room during service time, that you also wear a afce mask or face covering in order to help keep our colleagues safe.

 

POOLS AND HOT TUBS | OPEN DAILY

Our pools and hot tubs are open to guests and are following recommended CDC and government social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer stations are set up in the vicinity and staff regularly cleans chaises in between each use. If you get up from your chair to move around the resort, please remember to wear your face mask or face covering.


FOOD AND BEVERAGE | OPEN DAILY

Dining will all be available to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Serving favorite local dishes, farm fresh ingredients, and the best of Hawaiian cuisine, The Restaurant is a guest favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hana Dry Goods offers all of your grab-and-go needs, from sandwiches and salads to fresh fruit available daily; stop by and grab your favorite bites as you hit the road to go explore. Rest, rejuvenate, and order room service: we will knock and leave it at your front door so you don’t have to lift a finger.  


BEACH ACCESS

Soak up a day of fun in the sun! Guests at Hana-Maui Resort are expected to adhere to all mandates set in place by the state of Hawaii, by keeping six to eight feet apart and limiting group sizes to no more than ten (10) people.
 

FITNESS CENTER | DAILY

We follow CDC and Maui guidance and regulations on fitness center use by limiting the number of guests using the facility to six (6) people maximum at a given time. Guests may be asked to schedule a time to use the facility, and are expected to adhere to social distancing guidelines as well as to wipe down equipment after each use with the cleaning supplies provided.

Resort Fee

To enhance your stay, a resort fee of $38 plus tax (subject to change) will apply to each night of your stay at Hana-Maui Resort to provide you with the following services:

  • Use of Fitness center, including Peloton bikes
  • Use of Tennis/Pickleball courts
  • Use of Basketball courts
  • In room waters, replenished daily
