This was our 4th visit to La Zambra and it was equally as good as previously experienced. The staff are so switched on to guests and their needs - we would particularly commend the excellent concierge (Jorge and his colleagues)/guest experience team (Berta and Zoe) as well as the very attentive host (Diego)/breakfast hostess (don't know her name, but excellent) and the serving staff in Palmito. The housekeeping team is brilliant - rooms are thoroughly cleaned. We stay in a Junior Suite which gives you daily access to the spa area such as the hammam and sauna, indoor pools etc. Breakfast is exceptional - fantastic variety and quality. Dinner in Palmito is also great - varied menu and wine list (serve champagne by the glass too). Pool service is also very attentive in terms of towels, drinks etc - attendants very friendly. If we had one downside, it is the presence of so many corporate groups and private events - this can impact other guests experience (particularly some of the behaviours of the large groups). This has not been a major issue for us thus far, but we do know it can change individual guests perceptions of a resort if areas are closed due to events or large groups gather by the pool drinking. It also had a significant impact on how busy breakfast was. Overall, a great resort and one we would recommend if you want 5 star service and accommodation.
If you want a super clean, 5 star experience where everything is super professional this is the place to go. The staff were top tier and I had no complaints.

Dear Ian C, Thank you very much for sharing your lovely feedback following your stay at La Zambra Resort. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed the quality of the hotel, the comfort of your room and, in particular, the attentive service provided by our team. It is wonderful to hear that Picador was a highlight of your stay as well, and we will be sure to share your kind words with the restaurant team. Our secluded location between Málaga and Marbella is indeed part of what makes La Zambra such a peaceful oasis, while also placing us right next to two of the area's renowned golf courses. We are therefore especially pleased that you found the setting ideal for enjoying your time on the golf course. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon for another memorable stay. Warm regards, Guest Relations La Zambra Resort
The overall experience was enjoyable, but the service lacked the flexibility and attentiveness one would expect from a five-star property. Staff appeared constrained by very rigid roles and responsibilities, which sometimes made even simple requests unnecessarily difficult. The most surprising example was being refused coffee after dinner, even when we offered to pay for it separately. In a true five-star hotel, a reasonable guest request like this should be accommodated without hesitation. A little more guest-focused flexibility would have made a significant difference.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you generally enjoyed your stay, although we are sorry that on some occasions our service did not feel as flexible or attentive as you had expected. We understand your point regarding the importance of being able to accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible, and we regret that your request for coffee after dinner was not handled in a way that met your expectations. Your comments are valuable to us, particularly regarding the importance of a more guest-focused approach and greater flexibility when individual requests arise. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to offer you a more seamless experience in the future. Kind regards, Guest Relations La Zambra Resort

Incredible hotel. Zoe and Berta with guest services helped me organize a fun surprise for my son's birthday and they delivered a tremendous experience with gifts, balloons, and a scavenger hunt. He loved every minute. We also got to experience their weekly flamenco show which was as good or better as what I've paid for in Granada and Sevilla. The food and service at Palmito were fantastic and the hotel overall was clean, updated, and lovely. Highly recommend stopping here for a visit!

What a stunning resort. Simple yet opulent. It surpassed our expectations. If you are fortunate enough to be served by Alberto in the Palmito restaurant, you are guaranteed exceptional service. The spa services were excellent and the spa circuit and pools were a lovely addition to our stay as well as the gym.
