Pet Policy

Our pet-friendly hotel in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, provides pet policies for the comfort of dog owners, dogs and all guests. Please read our guidelines below.

Fees

1–6 nights: $100+VAT, per stay, per pet

7–30 nights: $100+VAT per stay, per pet, plus a deep cleaning fee of $50+VAT

31 nights or more: fee based on hotel’s discretion

Numu Boutique Hotel limits pets to two (2) household dogs with a combined weight not to exceed 75 pounds. Dogs must be housebroken. We reserve the right to refuse dogs that do not meet customary standards for household dogs, based on species, odor or aggressiveness. Your pet must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room, or you can make arrangements to be present when your room is serviced. It’s mandatory that all rooms and suites with pets are serviced by a hotel team member at a minimum of every three (3) days. Pets are not allowed in public areas, food service areas or pool. We suggest guests use side or back entrances, and dogs must be on leashes when outside the room. Hang the pet door hanger on your guest room door throughout your stay.

To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, following the departure of a guest and their pet after a 7–30-night stay, we take steps to ensure the room is left clean and free from possible allergens. We deep clean the floor, drapes, bedspreads and other linens, and fumigate the room. The cost of performing this extra cleaning is approximately $50+VAT. For this reason, we add a nonrefundable cleaning charge to the account when a guest checks in for 7–30 nights with a pet.

Occupancy, Rates, and Smoke-Free Policy

The rates published on this website are based on a maximum occupancy of two (2) guests per room. Should a third guest be required, an additional charge of USD $45.00++ per person, per night will apply and will be added to the total stay amount as appropriate. In compliance with current official regulations, the hotel is a 100% smoke-free property. Therefore, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the guest rooms and in any area not designated for this purpose. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a USD $200.00 fee, applied to cover the costs of deep cleaning and deodorization.
