The cape is absolutely top notch. Everything is clean, staff are very friendly and professional, and the views are the best in Cabo (El Arco constantly in sight). My only complaint with the Cape is everything is so expensive. My wife and I went all out on our stay so we weren't too concerned with the cost of things but if you are coming here on a budget I would wish you good luck. For example, we came with two other couples and six shots of their cheapest tequila upon arrival cost us over $100. Outside of how expensive everything is, this is one of the best resorts I have ever been to, and I have been to dozens of 5-star resorts around Mexico and the Caribbean. My wife and I will definitely come back in the future, and I would highly recommend this to anyone going to the Cab area.
Amazing Experience and hotel from A to Z! The food, view, and rooftop are all spectacular and I am gong to stay here again in the very near future.
Seriously amazing hotel. we got married in October and wanted to plan a big honeymoon to Europe or something. We decided to do a mini moon here since we have always wanted to go to Cabo. if you were in a similar boat, DEFINITELY stay here. Everything was top-notch. The views were absolutely incredible, the service was impeccable, and the food was AMAZING. We had a couple reservations booked for other restaurants, we ended up canceling one of them because we just didn’t want to leave the hotel since the dining options were so good. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. Each room has an amazing view, we didn’t even feel the need to leave our room. The pool was amazing as well. in the beginning of the week it was a little quiet, but it picked up towards the end of the week. Still, you never had to fight for a chair. There was plenty of space. We let them know it was our honeymoon and they brought us a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate covered strawberries to the room. Truly a five star experience. If you want beautiful views, a relaxing trip, and delicious food, stay here- seriously!
I had been saving my World of Hyatt points specifically for our honeymoon, and after doing a lot of research and reading such positive reviews, I chose The Cape because I expected it to make this special trip feel memorable. When making the reservation, I spoke with a Hyatt customer service agent and specifically asked that our honeymoon be noted on the reservation. I had a wonderful experience with Hyatt during the booking process, so I was surprised and disappointed that our honeymoon was never acknowledged by the hotel during our stay. As a Discoverist member, I also hoped that, if available, we might receive an upgrade or at least a room on a higher floor—especially given that we were celebrating our honeymoon. I certainly understand that upgrades are based on availability, but combined with the lack of any acknowledgment of our special occasion, the overall experience felt underwhelming. Another frustrating experience involved a bottle of champagne that friends had sent to our room through the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. We wanted to bring the bottle to the rooftop so we could enjoy it outside rather than sitting in our room. The staff initially gave us a difficult time and attempted to charge us a corkage fee, even after we explained that the champagne had been delivered to us by the hotel. For a celebratory bottle sent as a honeymoon gift, the interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and took away from what should have been a simple, special moment. The Cape is a beautiful property, but unfortunately, the level of hospitality did not match what I expected for a hotel of this caliber or for such an important trip. I saved my World of Hyatt points for a long time specifically to use them for our honeymoon, and I left wishing I had chosen a different Hyatt property for the occasion.
It has the view of the arch from distance, which was great for our trip because our water activity was cancelled due to the weather. Water is so clear that we can see the bottom rocks and we enjoyed see surfers a lot. Rooftop bar provided not only great view of the sunset but also delivered great service and great food. Even though we were not able to experience the Micheline restaurant, we were happy with the rooftop bar for dinner. Breakfast from the ledge was great, service was fantastic. Not like the other resorts closer to the Marina, The Cape is much quieter without parties at night.

My husband and I came to Cabo for a wedding and upon arriving to our previously booked hotel we were very disappointed. We immediately checked out and booked the cape based on chat gpt recommendation. We knew the second we pulled up we made the right decision in switching to the cape. The view is unreal. The property is stunning. Service is exceptional. Food was the best hotel food we have experienced. Perfect amount of guests to socialize with but not overly crowded. Bedding and towels were all perfect. We are very picky about our hotel stays and couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. Waking up in the comfiest bed each morning to that incredible view and breakfast in the patio was everything. Already sad to be gone and will absolutely be back

Dear Andre, I can't tell you how much I loved reading your review. Knowing that your Cabo trip didn't start as expected and that The Cape ended up being such a special part of it truly means so much to us. Your words about the views, the food, the service, and those slow mornings on the terrace genuinely made me smile. And saying you couldn't find a single thing to complain about is probably one of the nicest compliments we could receive. Thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to share such kind words. We already can't wait to welcome you and your husband back to The Cape. What a view! This hotel has an amazing view of downtown Cabo San Lucas as well as the Arch. Located directly on the ocean and a short 12 min Uber ride to downtown Cabo, it is a quiet escape from the madness of Cabo but close enough to get there and enjoy. The food in the restaurants is wonderful and the service equally top notch. Our bedroom view was amazing. It rained one morning during our stay but we didn't mind sitting in our room and watching the rain while reading our books. Great hotel!

Came for our son’s wedding. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The food and drinks were delicious. Enjoyed the infinity pool and pool bar. The staff overall were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend The Cape hotel!
This is my third time staying at this property in the last three years. It in my opinion one of the best there is. I appreciate that it’s not one of those mega resorts and feels a lot more quaint. It’s also adult oriented so you don’t have small children screaming everywhere. Had a wonderful and easy check-in process. Melissa at the front desk was so accommodating and as a Hyatt globalist I was upgraded to a Thompson one bedroom suite which was perfect. Diego the general manager even came out to introduce himself and give me his card should I need anything during my stay. The staff is really so pleasant, everyone always greeted you with a big smile. Other shout outs to Iban at breakfast and Alberto serving drinks and food by the pool. Honestly can’t say anything bad about this hotel. Room was awesome, location great and the staff made you feel at home. Lastly they are great at honoring your Hyatt status. I look forwarded to staying there many years to come.
