Amazing hotel, great location, friendly staff , burger bar a must visit! Rooms clean and housekeeping daily , dark rooms to sleep well.
My go-to hotel in NYC because I can count on an efficient & accommodating staff & usually get an upgraded suite on high floor, or pay extra to guarantee that. I've stayed in numerous other hotels in the past, and genuinely find Thompson Central Park unrivaled in cleanliness, professionalism, and hospitality.
The overall location of this property is magnificent! Proximity to Central Park and the surrounding shopping, restaurants, subway makes this the ideal location. The rooms are huge and very well appointed. The toiletries very nice and I was staying at this property along with many of my work colleagues. We were able to enjoy breakfast and lunches. The food was beyond my expectations and very well prepared with a variety that was beyond all of my expectations. The atmosphere within the hotel was calm and very professional. I I’m going to make this my new favorite Manhattan hotel for any future stays.

Hotel was not clean overall although the room itself was manageable. The room lacked amenities and be prepared to walk to the Walgreens right down the street to get basic stuffs like a toothpaste. Do not opt for breakfast package as it's just scrambled eggs, bread and yogurt and it was terrible. The valet is available, but make sure you are on the 56th street entrance and call 15mins ahead of when you need the car by at the time of checkout. It felt like checking in to a motel rather than a Hyatt.

Always a great experience at The Thompson. Friendly staff, always efficient with whatever questions I might have. Great location. The Parker bar is always a good experience.

The 3rd party vendor for the Thompson Hotel was substandard. Awful. They appear to be disorganized and lazy. When we were checking out--trying to make it to the car rental place after refueling on our way to make a flight--it took 30 minutes to retrieve a car from a lot with no other activity and half full. Next door to the hotel. No explanation. No apology. And it was $105. Outrageous. If you have other options, you should pursue them.

Great location and clean hotel. Exceptional customer services from front desk, to bell services to housekeeping. Very close to top attractions and subway stops. Perfect for our family!

The Thompson is a spectacular Hyatt property in a perfect location for both business meetings and visiting the city. The staff is typically first class Hyatt and the dining is exceptional. 10 out of 10.

We recently returned to The Thompson in NYC for our second stay and once again enjoyed our visit. The hotel has a great location, within walking distance of many Manhattan attractions and points of interest. Check-in was quick and efficient, and our room was comfortable, nicely appointed, and very clean. The front desk and housekeeping staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming throughout our stay. The concierge was especially helpful in securing reservations at several of the restaurants we requested, which added to our overall experience. We enjoyed our return visit and would gladly consider staying at The Thompson again on our next trip to New York City.

This was a great hotel! It was clean, efficient, and centrally located to all our activities. I also appreciate that it was reasonably priced.
