Hyatt always does a great job with their properties and the Thompson Nashville is no exception. The hotel is situated a couple of blocks from Music City Center, an area called the Gulch. Quite a few restaurants and pubs adorn the area, all within walking distance. The location also lends itself to a moderately easy walk to the Honky Tonk action on lower Broadway.
All in all, check in was breeze, rooms were large and well appointed. The Marsh House was perfect for cocktails and breakfast and throw in a roof top bar for a drink or two and a fabulous view...
Parking is bit pricy, in line with NYC but this is not controlled by the hotel. I do wish the double rooms had (2) Queen beds instead of (2) Full sized beds, the rooms are quite large and would easily accommodate the larger beds. I highly recommend the Thompson property, it will be at the top of our list on our next visit to Nashville.
