Ribersborgs Kallbadhus

The magnificent Oresund Bridge (Øresundsbroen) is a 15-minute drive from Malmö city center.  The bridge is multi-faceted — it is a road, a railway and a tunnel.  The initial stretch is some 8 km (4.97 miles) in length to the man-made island of Peberholm.  From there, it connects to a tunnel of 4 km (2.48 miles), constructed so as not to impact the incoming aircraft to nearby Copenhagen airport.  It finishes in the Danish capital, Copenhagen

Oresund Bridge – A visit to Copenhagen

Malmö City Library first opened in 1905.  It is a fantastic blend of modern glass on one side and a historic castle on the other.  It has been awarded several prizes for its architecture and work with knowledge and integration.  The library houses more than 600,000 media publications and books in 60 different languages, and also arranges free events for both kids and adults.

Just a short stroll across a charming bridge from Kungsparken lies the stunning Slottsträdgården. This picturesque park features highlights such as the enchanting castle windmill and vibrant seasonal plantings, showcasing an array of vegetables and a kaleidoscope of colorful flowers, including tulips, primroses, and sweet peas. Be sure to admire the iconic sculpture Pegasus by Carl Milles, one of Sweden's most celebrated sculptors.

Slottsträdgården (City Park)

Situated approximately 2.5 km (1.55 miles) northwest of the historic Old Town, the vibrant, waterfront Västra Hamnen showcases the contemporary charm of Malmö. This lively destination is perfect for leisurely strolls while enjoying a cup of coffee. However, the main attraction is the breathtaking Öresund Bridge and the iconic Turning Torso, which spirals elegantly into the sky. Head south along the picturesque seafront for 2 km (1.24 miles), and you'll discover Ribersborgs Kallbadhus along with its beautiful beach.

Western Harbour (Västra Hamnen)

Lilla Torg — literally translated as "Little Square" — is one of Malmö's busiest spots, no matter the season.  Its heritage can be traced all the way back to the 1500s, with the establishment of a medieval market here.  Today it is the best spot in Malmö to enjoy a coffee, relax and people-watch.  Numerous terraced cafés overlooking the town square jostle alongside one another and offer a variety of cuisines, from traditional Swedish classics to sushi.

Malmö is famous for its stunning city parks. Nestled in the heart of the city, adjacent to Malmöhus Castle, the 8.4-acre Kungsparken (The King's Park) stands as Malmö's oldest park. Originally named King Oscar's Park when it opened in 1872 by the Swedish monarch, it draws inspiration from the elegance of English gardens.
