Dress Code Policy
For the comfort of all guests, Park Hyatt Sydney does not permit hotel slippers and bathrobes to be worn in public areas and dining venues.
Photography and Filming Policy
Park Hyatt Sydney does not permit photography, videotaping, recording or live broadcasting of any kind, except for personal and noncommercial purposes. Interview activities of any kind require prior authorisation, including but not limited to image shooting, filming, recording and interviewing guests or hotel colleagues.
While capturing memories is encouraged, guests taking photos or filming for personal and noncommercial uses at Park Hyatt Sydney are asked to respect the privacy and comfort of others. Photography and filming are not permitted in the pool area, the Fitness Centre, restrooms, changing rooms and spa treatment rooms.
Drone Policy
Park Hyatt Sydney does not permit the use of drones.
Unacceptable Behaviour Policy
Park Hyatt Sydney asks that guests show common courtesy to fellow guests and hotel colleagues and not use profanity or engage in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour such as: fighting or threatening, bumping into and pushing others in the queue, using profanity or obscenities, or gesturing in an obscene or threatening manner. Engaging with other guests against their will is not permitted.
Guests should not take and/or otherwise damage plants and floral decorations and refrain from touching art pieces and water features displayed throughout the hotel. Consuming brought-in food and beverages in public areas of the hotel is not permitted. Food and drinks with pungent odors are not permitted to be brought into the hotel.
The sale or exchange of goods or services or the display of goods or services for sale or exchange or solicitation for sale or exchange of goods or services—whereby goods include but are not limited to Hyatt-branded merchandise and services of any kind—is not permitted.
Distributing or displaying printed materials, propaganda materials such as business cards, leaflets advertising merchandise or services, recorded materials, flags, banners or signs of any kind, as well as carrying out rallies, themed events, performances, speeches or action arts, is not permitted unless authorised in advance.
Failing to be properly and fully clothed, wearing inappropriate or indecent attire, printed offensive language and cult-related symbols, or wearing religious-offensive clothes, long trains or attire that could detract from the experience of other guests is not permitted in public areas at Park Hyatt Sydney. Wearing clothes that may mislead guests into thinking you are a hotel colleague is not permitted. Littering or discarding any trash or personal belongings is not permitted, except in designated trash receptacles.
Safety and Security Policy
Guests are not allowed to bring illegal, explosive and flammable or other dangerous items to the hotel. If any of the above items or suspected items are found by a guest, they should contact a hotel colleague immediately.
Park Hyatt Sydney reserves the right to inspect bags, backpacks and other belongings before they are brought into the hotel. Park Hyatt Sydney reserves the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other items to be brought into the hotel.
Guests shall not leave personal belongings unattended at any time and shall be responsible for the safety and security of their own personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to leave their valuables in the safe. Park Hyatt Sydney deals with any unattended object in such a way as deemed appropriate for safety reasons.
For their own safety and the safety of others, guests should refrain from running at the hotel or climbing railings. Guests are not permitted to use recreation devices with wheels, such as inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, skateboards or scooters at the hotel. Playing sports or playing with kites, remote-controlled flying devices and remote-controlled toys is not permitted at the hotel. Wagons, carts, other wheeled carriers and electrically powered mobility devices are not permitted to be brought into the hotel, except manual wheelchairs, electrically powered mobility devices for guests with disabilities and strollers used for children.
Engaging in any unsafe acts or other acts that may impede the operation of the hotel or any associated facilities and not following instructions given by hotel colleagues are not permitted. Lingering in and blocking entrances, exits, lifts, corridors or other public areas are not permitted.
Surveillance Policy
Park Hyatt Sydney may photograph, film, videotape and/or record at the hotel at any time. Entry into the hotel constitutes consent to be filmed, photographed and/or recorded, and to our use of these images and/or sound recordings for our internal business, administrative and operational purposes or other directly related purposes, for the purpose of meeting legal, safety or security requirements or for other legitimate purposes.
Pet Policy
No pets are allowed in the hotel during your stay.
