This hotel is INCREDIBLE except for the Spa manager.... We had the most amazing stay (except for the spa managers treatment of me.) Never again will I book a spa appointment here and this makes me sad for their therapists as they are AMAZING. It's a long story and didn't end great. But I would 100% recommend a stay here, just go elsewhere if you want a relaxing spa treatment.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Park Hyatt New York October 16th through 18th. Our room was upgraded to a suite overlooking Carnegie Hall and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries along with a an anniversary card that was handwritten. We walked to a fantastic Italian restaurant, Osteria La Baia, on Friday evening. Saturday morning we appreciated the close proximity to central park, and participated in the focus on fitness 7k running tour. Our guide, Tara, was excellent and we captured wonderful autumnal photos of multiple famous locations, in addition to pastoral and architectural backdrops. Globalist complimentary breakfast at the Living Room was outstanding, with a full filet and eggs skillet in particular as a highlight. Later that afternoon we utilized the complimentary hotel car to the Palace Theatre for the 2pm engagement of The Lost Boys, which was tremendous for a couple of Gen Xers on a weekend getaway. Dinner at the Gramercy Tavern dining room capped of a perfect day. The staff were truly exceptional throughout our stay. Views of central park from the 25th floor gym and pool were incredible. Room service was prompt and courteous and included artisan coffee cups and flatware. Chauffeur service was arranged through the concierge to return to Moynihan Train Hall for Acela back home on Sunday with short notice. We cannot wait to return and take advantage of the numerous nearby attractions. Pura Vida

The service, staff, and location are excellent. NYC is pricey and this property is no different. However, we love it and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in New York. Our rooms were quiet, clean, and had beautiful views. We have stayed here many times, always loved it, and found this last time to be amazing. Thank you!

A special thank you to the bar staff, in-room dining team, and doormen at Park Hyatt New York. They were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, and I really appreciated their warmth. These interactions were a highlight of my visit and left me with some lovely memories of my birthday trip.

As a long-time admirer and frequent guest of the Park Hyatt brand, I came into my stay at the Park Hyatt New York with high expectations. Having experienced the impeccable service, attention to detail, and warmth at Park Hyatt sister properties across Europe and Asia, I was sadly disappointed by what this flagship location offered. Instead of delivering a true luxury flagship experience, the property feels more like an expensive, corporate business hotel. A few main issues stood out during my stay: Room Maintenance & Cleanliness: The room was not cleaned to the level of standard expected for a high-end luxury property. Furthermore, the hard product is beginning to show its age, with noticeable wear and tear that needs updating. Service Quality: Customer service felt transactional, distant, and indifferent. It lacks the proactive hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail that define the brand globally. While the location in Midtown is convenient, the experience simply does not justify the premium price point when compared to international Park Hyatt properties or other true luxury options in New York. It is a real pity, as I genuinely love the Park Hyatt brand, but this property needs a major shift in service culture and maintenance to live up to its name.

Rooms were beautiful and well appointed. Temperature was able to be completely customized to our liking. Plenty of light if you wanted it, and easy to darken for a perfect night of sleep. Bathroom's heated flooring was a pleasant surprise. Rainfall shower invigorating. In room coffee and tea service was perfect. Loved the Nepresso machines.

We had a wonderful stay overall, and the hotel itself is beautiful. We especially loved the atmosphere and design of the breakfast area—it was warm, elegant, and full of character, which made breakfast a particularly enjoyable experience. That said, there were a couple of service issues during our stay that were disappointing. When we checked in, our room was not ready, and we were told that the hotel would call us once it was available. Since we were traveling with our baby, we spent some time at a nearby park while waiting. However, after quite a while, we never received a call. When we returned to the hotel, we found that our room was already ready, and we were told that the staff had simply forgotten to call us. There was also a welcome amenity that the hotel had thoughtfully prepared for my wife's birthday. We received a voicemail explaining that it had been prepared but had not been delivered to our room. I didn't hear the voicemail until the following morning, so I explained the situation to the front desk before breakfast and asked if it might still be possible to receive it. I was told that the manager would be consulted and that someone would get back to me, but unfortunately, no one followed up. To be clear, our disappointment was not about the welcome amenity itself. We genuinely appreciated that the hotel had taken the time to prepare something special for my wife's birthday. It was more about the lack of follow-up and the feeling that our concerns were not given much attention. Despite these issues, we really enjoyed the hotel, the beautiful surroundings, and the overall experience. With a little more attention to communication and follow-through at the front desk, this could have been an even more memorable stay.

Great location, super close to Central Park. The suite is amazing, spacious and with nice views. The room was quite confortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
