the hotel is between the railway and a road with heavy traffic. the sound proofing is good, no noise inside the room (on the road side at least). they will charge you a 100 € deposit, even if the room has been prepaid and will not release the deposit for almost a week. overall, the hotel is nothing special, the surroundings are rather bad and the deposit policy weird.

The hotel was nicely decorated whit a rustic and industrial design. And the staff was nice. The mall and central station was just a few minutes away by foot. We had some struggle to connect to the tv for casting. The sink was clogged, the bed was very hard and there was no shoehorn in the room. We also had some struggle with our room door and it was hard to shut it. And the breakfast was very basic with dry buns and no fruit available. The "mini bar" that was included, contained 2 small bottles of water and a small juice. The parking was a bit expensive too( 25€ /24 h), compared to parking garages near by. And the tv in our room was poorly placed, which spiked my OCD.

Very comfortable, stylish hotel in convenient location. Staff were extremely helpful, while rooms, amenities (including conference center and fitness center) and breakfast selection were perfect for business travelers. Overall hotel experience enhanced an enjoyable stay in Kiel.

The hotel itself is fine, not the state of the art, but the rooms are clean, there's a small spa area and a lounge, the staff is friendly. But at the end it's too expensive for what you get, especially when taking in consideration, that there is a lot more to pay additionally to the hotel fee, eg 25€ for breakfast (which is actually not worth it, in my opinion) and 25€ for parking overnight, adding 50€ per night to the regular hotel fee, which you should have in mind when staying here.

Quirky, fun and a great experience, highly recommended. Breakfast, parking, coffee and bottled water all included. Super buffet breakfast, central location and close to ferry terminals, shops and rail station. Relaxing start to journey home to Norway.

We were looking for a centrally located hotel for a small shopping trip to Kiel and found this gem of a hotel right in the middle of the city. Great rooms, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will definitely stay there again!

A refreshing hotell, cool and different, it stands out in the crowd. It is as near the railroad track as possible, due to good sound proofing that was never a problem. Very good breakfast.

Amazing atmosphere, good service and fabulous facilities, will come back. Very recommendable for every trip purpose.

really nice hotel and good food the hotel is 5 minutes walk to the nearest shopping center and transport the hotel is very new modern and they are pet friendly so if you are looking for a hotel in kiel then this hotel is the right one!!!
