It's a beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel in a nice walkable neighborhood. Loved the fitness center too! Surrounded by great Japanese restaurants and a short walk to nice shopping on Fillmore

Hotel exterior is dated and the entryway looks worn. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom had no door, which was annoying, but not a deal breaker. We had no problems with noise. We were only there for one night, so did not take advantage of any amenities, though the gardens looked nice from the lobby

this is a great hotel in the middle of Japan Town which is a fantastic location to see most of the north east side of SF ! The hotel service and staff is unmatched and you will feel right at home in this peaceful oasis in the city.

Booking a hotel in an unknown part of the city is always risky, but Hotel Kabuki exceeded all expectations! My flight arrived early and the front desk was willing & able to find a room early for me. The balcony was an added bonus, providing cool air and a great view of San Fran. The area is clean, safe and has lots of food and shopping options. The Japan Mall right next door provided a place to eat amazing Japanese food and pick up gifts. I would definitely stay here again!

This was my 4th stay the Hotel Kabuki and, as always, I had a truly wonderful time. The staff are exceptional; they now know me by name, always greet me, and are just very kind and helpful. I'm especially impressed by the front desk staff, the breakfast staff, and the staff who take care of luggage assistance, housekeeping etc. Basically, everyone. I honestly can't think of a single staff member that I've had a less than stellar experience with. The hotel's ambiance is perfect for its location in Japantown. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I'm always able to get an excellent night's sleep. I especially loved my time in one of the suite's; it was like having my own apartment to myself which was perfect for a trip that was a combination of business and pleasure. I absolutely love that I can walk out of the hotel and I'm right in the heart of Japantown, able to spend time in the mall, to eat at my favorite restaurant, or to just spend time exploring all within walking distance. For anything not in walking distance, the Waymo car service makes it incredibly easy to explore other areas of the city without having to worry about parking or traffic. All in all, an incredible experience at a wonderful hotel with amazing staff and I'm looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Great hotel with a good location connected to Japantown Mall. I woukd stay here again. The staff is amazing. Only negative I had was the buffet breakfast which was $32 pp and most of the food I got was cold in the middle and very low choice in selection. I woukd not buy that again.

Loved the ambiance and the room was comfortable. Parking was a breeze for San Francisco! The hotel definitely had character and a good trendy vibe.

I was put in the weird annex building not the hotel and the room was horrible and so loud all night. Unless you are guaranteed a room in the tower do not stay here.

Excellent hotel stay. Loved the design. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Also there were additional inviting spaces to spend relaxing time in, the lobby and the little Japanese garden. The coffee machine in the lobby produces a great cappuccino. There are many excellent restaurants around. The staff are all very attentive.

We love staying at the Kabuki for the comfort and vibe, the high quality bar, excellently appointed gym, and views. Walking distance from many restaurants, shopping and entertainment!
