Really clean. Great staff. Great breakfast and bar. Breakfast tasted great and was open early. Bar was open late so when I finished walking the town it was still open for a late night drink. Room was so clean I felt very comfortable being in it.
Great experience overall, I had a not so pleasant experience at the restaurant. I do realize it could have been a 1 off and others enjoyed it.

Location was 10 minutes from Newport, in a less busy area. Wonderful, modern and clean hotel. Rooms were larger than expected which was nice. There are fire pits and chairs as well as a nice outdoor pool. Restaurant located in hotel that has live music some nights. Glad we chose this hotel while visiting area.

No hot water the last night, overwhelmed serving staff in the restaurant for breakfast, no elevator in building, noise from adjacent rooms.

Another great stay at The Pell! I travel to the area for business about twice a year, and The Pell has become my go-to hotel whenever I'm in town. I've always enjoyed staying here, and it's nice to have a place I can consistently look forward to coming back to. One of my favorite additions is the new cold plunge and sauna. Such a great amenity, especially when traveling for work. It's the perfect way to relax and recharge after a long day of meetings. Definitely a nice touch that makes the hotel stand out from other places I've stayed. Overall, another excellent experience at The Pell. I'll certainly be back on my next business trip!

As World of Hyatt members, we generally try to stay at a Hyatt property when vacationing. The Pell was the only option in the Newport area and we're glad that it was. The property was good, the service was excellent, and the onsite restaurant (The Helmway) was perfect. Staff were absolutely great.

While our room (#212) was updated and clean, the staff friendly and responsive, and the outdoor area/pool was lovely, the odor of cat urine emanating from the bathroom ceiling fan in our room made it an unpleasant place to be. Without that issue, my rating would be a 5. If they acknowledge and address this (not sure if folks in other rooms have the same issue), and I experience it for myself, I'll gladly upgrade my review.

We are sorry the odor coming through the bathroom fan made your room unpleasant, despite the care you saw in your guest room. An issue like that can overshadow an otherwise lovely stay, and we understand why it affected your visit so strongly. Your comments about the bathroom ventilation have been shared with our engineering team. We appreciate the opportunity to address this and hope a future visit gives us the chance to provide the stay you expected.
Front desk gentleman was nice and helpful. Very professional. Room was a decent size and decorated well. Pretty clean few minor things. No elevator which is mostly an issues for bringing luggage in and out. The bar was always dead and the bartender was rude. We got a ‘deal’ because we had a wedding block I would never pay the full price to stay here. $700 for the two night was already crazy. Without the room block it would have been over $1200. If the after party wasn’t here I would have got an Airbnb or stayed someplace else. I also can’t stand when parking isn’t included.

Ok hotel - food was not great in the restaurant. Room was clean and updated. Location was ok, but not much nearby. Would stay again.
