The hotel is located in a good location. Rooms were dated. Lobby bar has good food. Breakfast was ok but it takes about one hr wait for food. The rooftop pool is small with a bar that’s open two days a week. It’s got food but just not open everyday.

The Location near trolley stop and Superdome/Smoothie King venues within 3 blocks to walk. Hotel is Art Deco design with music venue and lobby bar. Coffee shop attached and restaurant. Rooms very comfortable and quiet.

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. So glad we chose to stay at The Barnett. Everything was great from arrival to departure. The staff, our room, live music, food and drinks at Brutto were all amazing. Highly recommend! Special shout out to Julius at the front desk, and Mandy and Waa at Brutto for their remarkable service.

What a wonderful weekend at the Barnett! The property is in an EXCELLENT location: far enough away from the traffic and noise of the French Quarter, right on the St. Charles trolly line, and sites and shopping are highly walkable. Our rooms were comfortable, quiet and large. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on property. Mandy, Connor, and Waa made us feel well taken care of. Limited vegan options--but that is typical in all of NOLA. Looking forward to a return visit with my husband!

Great service arrival was seamless. The conference space was wonderful.the hotel embodies the neighborhood. Rooftop was such a gem.

The Barnett has awesome staff and is a centrally located hotel that is very walkable to any place of interest. The beds were comfortable and clean.

Loved how spacious the room was. While closed, the wood shutters kept rhe room very dark in the morning which I loved. I wish entry way lighting near the mirror was better but not a huge deal at all. Love the high ceilings. Parking lot across the street was gated and more convenient than paying for valet, so that I could access my car whenever I need it to without waiting. I would definitely stay here again. The dome was pretty much a straight walk in about ten minutes.

I ended up staying at The Barnett after a disappointing experience at another hotel. My original reservation was at the DoubleTree, but after a delayed flight, the staff was unexpectedly rude to both my guest and me when we arrived. We decided to cancel our stay and book The Barnett instead, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long travel day. The location was fantastic—close enough to easily explore New Orleans while still feeling like a great place to come back and relax. The rooftop pool was a huge highlight and the perfect way to unwind after walking around the city. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but everything else about the stay exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again. One tip: don’t miss the Dole Whip soft serve with vodka—it was the perfect poolside treat!

I loved the amenities, and the staff was excellent. However, the biggest problem was that the bed was terrible for sleeping. The location was great also. Clean! and the atmosphere was perfect.
