Hotel is poorly kept, both shower and skink with mold, rooms are in desperate need of renovations, bed headboard coming apart, very dirty rugs and defenitely not a 4star hotel, I arrived a few minutes before 3:00 pm and room was not ready, had to wait for over 30 min. 
The only good experience was the front desk and concierge staff, good location, but not a great experience overall.

Disappointing

Hidden gem in the Times Square area.  Great staff, comfortable beds.  Have been staying here for 20+ years.

Hidden Gem

Terrible experience.. the room had an odd odor, one of the lights were flickering and would not work properly, the shower would overflow, there is no shower door so the bathroom floor would flood, and when I switched the sink temperature from hot water to cold, the water was brown for a little less than 5 minute before turning back clear. I enjoyed my experience in New York outside of the hotel. 

I will say this.. housekeeping was lovely. They did their best to accommodate and meet my needs.

First and Last…

A little difficulty in finding the hotel because there is another Hyatt Hotel right next door. We were able to check in early which was nice to drop our bags off, freshen up, and go off and explore. There is a wine and cheese hour which is nice. The room was clean, we had a deluxe king room. I think the only difference is we had two robes and one pair of slippers. It would have been nice to be able to use the mini fridge for things that we bought, but the fridge is stocked full of items to buy.

Difficulty finding but overall nice stay

The hotel is a bit dated but the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We had some issues with a missing remote and noisy heat but the technician was very helpful. Heat was still noisy but we managed. No coffee maker was a disappointment.  Our view was building rooftops so that was not great.  But honestly we didn't spend much time in the room so all in all it was a great stay.

Dated but great stay!

This is pretty straightforward: I've stayed at this hotel on a few occasions.  It is generally affordable with a good location.  However, on this occasion, my room's climate control system was malfunctioning - I suspect this was due to the cold the week I stayed (in the run-up to New Years Eve), but I was unable to get the system to do anything but blow extremely hot air.  Regardless of the cold outside, trying to sleep in a room that was stuck at 77 degrees was not fun.  Due to a late arrival I didn't sort out that there was a problem until well after midnight.

Otherwise it was a good stay, but having trouble sleeping really marred the stay.

Nice Hotel, Bad Climate Control

I really liked this hotel.  The ambience was nice and the staff was especially welcoming. My room had some cool features like a mirror that turned into a TV. When you check in, you get a free water bottle. The only downside is that my room was a little worn and needed some refurbishing.

Great hotel (but needs some refurbishing)

Location is great. Stuff were very helpful but the condition of the rooms was not good in terms of hygiene and they are a lot smaller than it seems on their photos.

Dirty and small rooms

Best hotel in New York that I have ever stayed in. 10/10 experience. My husband and I loved the experience and we are definitely coming back. Our dog, Lucy, also loved it and felt very welcomed by everyone.

Perfect for staycation

My wife, two kids (14 and 10), and I stayed in a corner suite. The room was clean and modern. The location of the hotel was perfect and the value was great compared to the other hotels we looked at in the area. The hotel was quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely come back to this hotel.
