Great stay in a walkable central location.  Exceptional staff!  There were fun and considerate details in the room like a welcome note, a couple of bottles of Topo Chico and a snack.  Comfy bed with ear plugs provided in case of noise.  I didn't notice any particular noise and slept well!

Fun hotel with great staff!

Went for son's wedding, great overall experience. Very clean, very friendly, and the food was amazing. The fitness center is like no other!

Helped to make the best wedding ever!

Great Service and we are very thankful for allowing a early check in, the staff was very helpful and I would highly recommend the 4th floor bar.

Austin Trip

The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were friendly, but overall the experience didn’t quite meet expectations for the price point.

Service throughout our stay felt slow and inconsistent — from basic requests to food and dining. While I understand hotels can get busy, the delays and lack of attention to detail were disappointing for a property in this range.

None of these things alone would have been a big deal, but combined, they made the stay feel less enjoyable than expected. With quicker service and a bit more attention to detail, this hotel could easily live up to the great first impression it gives.

Nice Hotel, But Service Didn’t Match the Price

Staff excellent, location excellent, amenities excellent, room small but functional, great design, paper thin walls. Walls so thin, you could hear everything your next door neighbor did in their room. They were not even playing music or being loud, the walls may as well have been a hospital room drape divider.

Loud & Stylish with great hospitality

Rooms in Tommie Austin are very small, but adequate if you don't plan to spend much time in your room, or if you plan to work from your room.  The floor plan is Asian influence, and minimalistic.  There is no closet or drawer space, and limited area for toiletries.  The floor-to-ceiling window is nice.

Speaking with Honesty

Noisy location, small rooms and super poor valet parking service. Takes forever to get the car and it’s expensive. Won’t stay there again.

Not what you’d expect from such a hotel

Fantastic experience at tommie Austin.  Very clean and funky room, great facilities, perfect location, good food options.  Rooms are small compared to Thompson Austin (in the same building), but other than that, good times.

The staff responded quick to my needs of needing a room change because the AC was not working. I sadly would not recommend this hotel only because the rooms are EXTREMELY small and not comfortable at all. This room is barely comfortable for 1 person and 2 days max. The arriba abajo rooftop is beautiful and great drinks and food!

Great staff but rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL

The staff and everyone I encountered was great and very nice. It was hard to sleep at night though. The AC was extremely loud and would make a rattling sound every 15 min which sounded like someone was knocking on my door. I also wish there were a towel hook in the bathroom. There was nowhere to put my towel while showering.
