Lovely hotel but can be a little noisy, so be aware of this
Nice business-class hotel across from the World Trade Center and Pepsi Center. Clean, comfortable, and well designed rooms except for the new design trend of bathrooms open to the rest of the room. The shower and toilet had sliding doors for privacy, though. Awkward when traveling with others, in my opinion. But doesn't distract from the fact the hotel really is quite nice overall. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room away from Insurgentes. This street can be noisy well into the wee hours of the morning. Mexico City is loud overall and this is a loud street, even by CDMX standards!

A good visit in Hyatt Regency Mexico City
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything about my stay was excellent except the front desk for checkin made a small mistake, she did not put the club access on my room key, from the top-tier hotel condition to the outstanding customer service. The property is beautifully maintained, clean, and incredibly comfortable. What truly made the stay memorable, however, was the staff. Every team member I encountered was professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mexico City and look forward to returning on my next trip!

such a great neighborhood!
The hotel is lovely and has a great location. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. Beautiful parks and tourist opportunities are available at a slightly longer distance. Our room was lovely with panoramic windows on two sides. Unfortunately we were never able to make the wifi or television work over a three night stay. The coffee maker in the room was also broken. The noise level was acceptable though Insurgentes is a very busy street. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a lot of variety.

Had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes. The hotel is modern, well-maintained, and located in a great area with beautiful city views. Just perfect!
This is an EXCEPTIONAL Hyatt Regency. Raul Trejo, the Chief Concierge, made us feel like royalties and personal family members at the same time. He is the epitome of hospitality. The hotel also has an updated water filtration system that is only 2 years old. Raul informed us that we should still stick to bottled water, but I accidentally brushed my teeth with tap water from the hotel, and not even a bubbly stomach. Food for Globalist is just spectacular. The evening "snack" is basically a full dinner. The hotel is in great condition, great furnishing, nice beds, great views, quiet, and right next to the #1 bus stop. There is a very nice Japanese restaurant on premise downstairs, and there is another upscale restaurant inside the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Great, convenient, and modern hotel in Mexico City!
The Hyatt Regency Insurgentes has an excellent location with easy access to public transportation. Insurgentes is one of the main arteries running north to south through the city, which makes getting around very simple. The hotel itself feels brand new, with spacious and super comfortable rooms and common areas. The staff are professional, welcoming, and very helpful. I especially appreciated the lounge access and that Hyatt status is truly recognized and valued here. Excellent stay overall and highly recommended!

Great Stay in a Modern and Comfortable Hotel
I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, well-designed, and the beds were extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in was smooth, and everyone made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and easy access to transportation. It made exploring Mexico City simple and enjoyable.

Excellent stay
The hotel was in a great location and only 40 mins to the airport despite traffic. I was impressed with the room and the amenities available. The gyms was very nice and every place was super clean and tidy. The service was top notch and I only wished I would have tried their dinning options.

Great location, noisy, dilapidated building despite being new, do not recommend
Great location directly on Metrobus Line 1, but despite being only 2.5 years old the property is starting to fall apart. The walls are also super thin so you hear every word and toilet flush from adjacent rooms. Rooms are not good to share with friends or family - you will hear every sound effect from the toilet throughout the rest of the room including in bed. One night it was so noisy from a party in the room next door that we couldn't sleep. I called the front desk twice but they didn't care. Our room was quite worn - the door to the hallway wouldn't latch very well unless you really pushed hard, the sink didn't drain properly, the curtain rod fell off, and the floor was very damaged. It seems most features of the hotel room and hallways were cracking, separating, or in some other way damaged. A friend gave us a Guest of Honor certificate so we'd be treated like we had his special status. We were given a direct WhatsApp number to contact for issues but when I reported the drainage issue it was ignored for multiple days and nothing was ever done to address it over our 5 night stay. The only benefit of this upgrade we got was a free breakfast. The "Regency Club" room used for breakfast had a great view but the food was mediocre - the standard fare at most Hampton Inns is better. I guess this hotel is more appropriate for people who want a hotel to throw parties in without paying for a party suite and who don't want to have to worry about causing damage to the room because it's already been done.

We are especially concerned to learn that your calls to the Front Desk regarding the noise were not handled to your satisfaction. Guest comfort and rest are a top priority, and we regret that we did not respond in a way that made you feel supported. Your comments have been shared with both our Front Office and Security teams to reinforce proper follow-up procedures. Regarding the maintenance matters you mentioned (door latch, drainage, curtain rod, flooring condition), we have escalated these observations to our Engineering and Housekeeping leadership teams for immediate review. Preventative maintenance and room condition are areas we continuously monitor, and your feedback is extremely valuable in helping us address opportunities for improvement. We also regret that your Guest of Honor experience did not meet expectations. This recognition should enhance the stay meaningfully, and we are sorry that communication through WhatsApp and the Regency Club breakfast offering did not reflect the elevated experience you anticipated. We understand how disappointing it must have been for your stay to fall short, particularly when it was recommended and associated with a valued status benefit. Great Place to Stay to Relax and Enjoy MX
The hotel is located in a great location near restaurants, cafes, shops and easy to catch an Uber. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel decor looks stunning and the City View Room was amazing. I enjoyed my stay and was able to relax. The breakfast food tasted delicious!

Exceptional Service Makes the Stay at Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes
My recent stay at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes was outstanding, primarily due to the truly terrific service provided by the staff. While the hotel is beautiful and well-appointed, it was the personalized attention and genuine care from several team members that turned a simple trip into a memorable experience. I must specifically commend the housekeeping team, particularly Oskar, whose service was exemplary. The room was consistently immaculate, and the attention to detail from Oskar and the rest of the cleaning staff was noticeable and greatly appreciated. They ensured everything was perfect and always had a cheerful and professional demeanor. Furthermore, the assistance provided by Edgar and Alan in the lobby/front-of-house area was invaluable. Getting Ubers in a busy city can sometimes be challenging, but they handled this process flawlessly, making sure my transport was secured quickly and efficiently every time. Beyond logistics, both Edgar and Alan were genuinely proactive, consistently checking in to ensure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their constant vigilance and readiness to assist, always with a smile, exemplified five-star hospitality. The dedication of Oskar, Edgar, Alan, and the entire staff made this hotel experience truly stand out. Their commitment to guest comfort and satisfaction is what defines this Hyatt Regency, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Decent but nothing outstanding
Room was not ready at all (original room, not upgraded) on check in, all the way until 5pm. Rest was ok. Restaurant has limited option. Only thing I like is the view at the club lounge & the mister that was working there in the evening when I was staying (on rotation).

Great stay
King room was great. Checkin was prompt. Close to grocery and lots of restaurants close by. ATM was downstairs. About 20 mins from airport and other main attractions

Paper thin walls but a bed to die for!
The location of this hotel is by far the best. You have many plazas, restaurants, and banks right below your building. The bed is to die for (if you like a soft feather top). However, don't use their person chofer they offer to take you to places. A $150 peso Uber ride with their driver cost me $1,100 pesos (I know it is always going to be more with this option but not, that high). Carlos the bellboy is so truly incredibly nice, while the front desk two women could use some care in customer service. The walls are paper thin, unfortunately, while traveling with my two children I was woken up to a couple next door have a fun time as I am sure later that day they heard my 2 year old screaming bloody murder. There are also weird cut outs of the walls and ceiling in the room and bathroom that disturbed me as if someone could see us. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel. Needs a little TLC but the location and breakfast were really great!

Enjoyable stay in Mexico City!
Excellent property. Truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was always ready to assist in any way possible. The area has plenty of restaurants and shops nearby as well. Rodoflo at the Regency club took excellent care of us each morning and David and Edgar at the lobby were always looking out for us and seeing if we needed anything. David anticipated several of our needs and was proactive.

Safe, walkable location with scenic city views and easy city access.
With our regular worldly travels, we are away from home about 4 months out of the year including three to four trips to Mexico City. From the excellent location to the superb service and delicious food & beverage offerings, the Hyatt Regency Insurgentes may not be in the heart of touristy areas but this brand new property offers comfortable accommodations with scenic city views in a safe, walkable area that offers many restaurant options from local treats to fine dining. That's why we now consider it a second home for us in CDMX.
