Pet Policy

Hyatt focuses on providing a hassle-free experience for our guests. For many, being able to include a four-legged friend is essential for a happy, productive stay. To ensure a spot for your pet, a reservation must be made at least three days in advance of arrival. Dogs must weigh under 50 pounds, or up to two dogs must weigh less than 75 pounds combined.

$100 pet fee: 1-7 days

$200 pet fee: 8-14 days

$300 pet fee: 15-21 days

$400 pet fee: 21-27 days

Reservations that include dogs must be made at least three days in advance of arrival, please reach out to hotel to confirm availability.

Can only be booked into standard room.

Dogs are not allowed in public areas such as restaurants, pools.

Dogs must be walked in the designated area. Owners must clean up after their dogs.

Owner will be asked to complete hotel’s dog-friendly letter and provide a phone number in order to locate guest in the event of an emergency.

Owners should contact housekeeping to arrange a daily cleaning time; otherwise room will not be serviced. The dog may not remain in the room while housekeeping is providing service.

Owner is responsible for all damage to hotel property. The hotel does not assume liability for a guest’s pet or its action while at the hotel.

Dogs cannot be left in the room alone.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept cats.

Smoke and Vape-Free

Hyatt Regency Westlake is a completely smoke and vape-free property, including the guest room. Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated smoking areas only, located outside the front entrance of the hotel. In the event it is determined that smoking or vaping took place inside a guest room, a smoking fee of $250 will be placed on the folio of the registered guest at management’s discretion.
