Beautiful hotel. Pool was wonderful and the location was great. Pillows and bed were comfortable and we slept great. Can't wait to return.

Nice room, poor management
Room was clean and recently remodeled, aside from sticky bathroom floors and a missing toilet paper holder end cap. The real issue was management. Our room wasn’t ready at the advertised 4:00 PM check-in. We spent over 30 minutes in the lobby with a 2-year-old on a tight schedule the front desk already knew about, were passed between three assistant front office managers with no actual GM made available, and were only offered cheaper rooms with no compensation for the downgrade. A $40 parking comp was the only tangible gesture, and I arrived 30 minutes late to a company event. If anything goes wrong during your stay, expect a major headache.

One night stay with little kids
Great hotel! Stayed just one night before going to Disney. Hotel is in great condition. Kids loved the pool and slides. Staff were very friendly.

love this location. staff is very welcoming, hotel conditions and amenities are amazing. easy access from airport and local to many great restaurants, shopping, etc.

Exceptional service, gorgeous rooms and facilities
Stayed in the two queen suite with my 10 year old daughter and her two friends. The room was beautifully updated and clean. The staff decorated the room and left her a birthday surprise before our arrival! Every person we encountered was so warm and kind the older gentlemen overseeing the club lounge on Oct 1 brought out a treat for her and sang happy birthday with us! We also had smores on the club lounge patio (pricey kits though, FYi). Pool was great though pool slides are closed during the weekdays FYI. I was just super impressed with our entire experience and will choose this as our preferred hotel in Irvine.

Very sub-par unfortunately. $42 for self-parking or $48 for valet. Rooms have zero storage - two very small drawers and a tiny closet with no door in a double queen room. No real room service. VERY expensive counter breakfast. Paper-thin walls. We expected more. On the plus side, the pool was nice and the beds were comfortable.

great experience, clean and modern hotel with epic pool and friendly staff, hotel has a well stocked store, several restaurants, and is clean.

Wonderful experience – highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay overall! I was very grateful for the complimentary room upgrade with globalist benefit, which made our trip even more special. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the pool area. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!

Excellent Hotel, close to the heart of OC will return next time in CA, pool area is very Las Vegas Vibe fun, classy, the lobby is pretty.

Caters to week-end clientele
Beautiful hotel, but they save the best amenities for the weekend guests. For example, omelets and waffles were only available on weekends. The kids' slide was only available on weekends as well.

Great place to stay
We love the location of the hotel, easy access to food and entertainement. The club lounge foods were great and tge staff are very friendly and helpful.

Family vacation

One of Southern California’s Best Hyatt Properties — Exceptional in Every Way
The Hyatt Regency Irvine has quickly become one of my absolute favorite Hyatt properties in Southern California. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. A very special thank you to Tyron, one of the managers, who went above and beyond to provide us with the most incredible guest experience. As a Globalist, the upgrade and consideration he extended to us were beyond wonderful. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, and his genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcomed and appreciated. This is a property that truly recognizes and values Hyatt Globalist members, including its own private club lounge for Globalists. The benefits and accommodations are exceptional, but even more importantly, the staff genuinely recognizes your loyalty and makes you feel special and appreciated. It is the kind of hospitality that makes you look forward to returning again and again. The property itself is stunning. The grounds are gorgeous and beautifully maintained, and the hotel is spacious and impressive without ever feeling overwhelmingly large. There are several wonderful choices for dining, along with a lively nighttime atmosphere that makes it a great place to meet friends for dinner, drinks, or simply enjoy an evening at the hotel. The pool area is fabulous — large, beautiful, and complete with an enormous outdoor screen for movie nights and sporting events. After an afternoon by the pool, you can gather around the outdoor fire pits and enjoy s’mores, which are conveniently available for purchase inside. It is such a fun and thoughtful touch. I travel extensively throughout Southern California and consistently stay at premier properties, and the Hyatt Regency Irvine truly stands out. The value at this hotel is extraordinary. The caliber of the property, amenities, atmosphere, accommodations, and overall guest experience far exceeds what one would expect at its price point. It delivers the feeling and experience of a considerably more expensive resort, making it an exceptional value within the Hyatt portfolio. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something a little different and truly special — whether it is a relaxing getaway, some much-needed “me time,” business travel or a corporate gathering, or simply an opportunity to be spoiled for a few days. The Hyatt Regency Irvine has that rare ability to feel equally suited for business and leisure while delivering an elevated experience in either setting. What stands out most is the way this hotel makes its guests feel. There is a genuine warmth and attention to detail that makes you feel welcomed, appreciated, and special from the moment you arrive. Great weekend stay with kids
Stayed here with our little kids and this place did an outstanding job. They were able to provide a resort vibe while in an otherwise boring business park hotel.

Great hotel
Loved this hotel. Room was very nice, they had everything you could need. There is a pool hot tub and slide and that is what really sold it for us. There’s food and drinks at the pool too. I wish we stayed longer. I loved that they played movies out by the pool.
