  • Sadly won’t be back.

    We’ve stayed at the Savannah Hyatt Regency many times before, but unfortunately, the customer service has declined. Upon check-in, we did not receive the level of hospitality expected from a World of Hyatt experience. For example, the couple ahead of us was offered a welcome drink, but we were not. Despite being loyalty members, we were checked in after all other guests, so expedited check-in was not honored. Additionally, staff members spent time chatting and laughing together while guests waited in line without acknowledgment, which did not make for a welcoming atmosphere. Valet parking was $50 per night, but you still had to retrieve and return your own car to the garage—more of a self-parking experience. I would recommend saving money and parking across the street for $15, as it’s essentially the same service. Overall, the location is great, but the customer service we once enjoyed here has noticeably declined.

  • Good location but overall not the best experience.

    Overall a bad experience. The location is good, the hotel looks pretty, and I had a quiet room. However: - My bathtub was dirty and its drain was clogged - The desk light was not working - I made a complaint about the clog and desk light and the only thing solved was the clogged drain - I made special requests and none were answered neither followed up about - Also had a reservation at the restaurant, but when I arrived I realized it was very different than what it looked online, so I changed my plans. For the price range and the amount of other options around it, it just seems not to be worth it.

  • Great Experience

    Very friendly staff. A well run hotel. Front Desk staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. The restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was quite good. I had a room that overlooked the river and every morning it was covered in water drops making it a very distorted view. The room was clean and was cleaned daily.

  • A must stay hotel when you are in the Savannah area.

    This hotel is a must stay while you're in the Savannah area. The rooms are beyond great and the staff is very friendly providing for your every need.

  • Solo weekend

    I booked a riverfront room with balcony. It was pretty but very noisy especially the ferry running backwards and forwards to the conference center across the river. Everything else was great!!

  • Our favorite hotel in Savannah

    Great hotel on the Waterfront of Savannah. Love the accessibility to the riverfront and the historic squares both. I would recommend checking your room location to see if it's in the atrium, because it can get a little noisy at night. We had a view of the riverfront that was beautiful.

  • Soaking in Savannah River front views!

    Had a great experience during our annual 2025 IACP Educational Conference. The food was exceptional! We had a great view of the sunrise over the river on River Street. It was also enjoyable to watch all of the river traffic from the comfort of our room.

  • Great location

    Great location , service and accommodations but the valet is ridiculous. They are lazy, don't perform actual valet duties and still expect a tip. I guess they think that since valet is the only parking available that the valet folks don't need to work.
