A Great Experience on the River
This hotel was perfectly located for exploring the River St area and has a ferry stop for the convention center across the river. The staff was very friendly and the design of the hotel is beautiful. A great place to stay for work or with family.
Very good
Location was excellent. Rooms and hotel were clean and inviting. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Parking was convenient (but expensive). No complimentary coffee in AM like in other hotels (advertised but not available).
Room smells/service understaffed throughout.
Room smelled, staff was understaffed throughout, very poor lighting in room, decor needs work, etc. Public space nice. Hard to believe this property meets Hyatt standards for condition or level of service. Would not stay again.

Fun stay
Great location, lots of gathering spaces in lobby. Atrium rooms were somewhat noisy with football games going on in lounge areas

Solo weekend trip
Great room, excellent shower, and ideal location for fun activities. I would definitely stay again should I return to Savanna.

Enjoyed my stay!
Enjoyed my stay. Beautiful river view from my room. Walking distance to shopping and food. Will definitely stay here again!

First time, but will not be our last
Wonderful experience! We were in Savannah for the Banana Ball playoffs. We have already decided we want to stay here again next year.

Not what I would expect from a Hyatt property!
Old , dark and smells not what I would expect from a Hyatt hotel!. Restaurant Breakfast was terrible burnt, overcooked and greasy but restaurant staff was nice.

Overpriced on the river.
Nice hotel, should be for the price, which is a bit over the top. Especially valet parking. Staff is also an issue. Kind of like they behave like this at their house, hugging, talking loud, dancing instead of being professional. Bay Street is insanely noisy as well. Horrible bar and breakfast area, no atmosphere, uninviting.

Excellent hotel
Excellent place to stay ! Valet was expensive but I did it anyway to have the security of my rental vehicle. Concierge helped us with trolley tickets and restaurants. Bell men and valets were all super nice and professional, as well as a super helpful front desk staff! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

Wedding weekend
Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Check-in process was smooth. Our room was immaculate. The location was within walking distance of many restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.

Poor service
Stayed at this hotel a couple times. This last time the valet threatened to fight me if he wasn’t at work if I would not provide my keys to them while they allowed us to park and load our luggage to checkout. We loaded and left in under 5 minutes where they allowed us to do so. I will never return because of this interaction.

Great location, very nice room, excellent customer service
Hyatt Gegency Savennah sits on Savannah River, located at the river front, the prime location in Savannah Georgia. Its room with river view is outright gorgeous. If you don't have a room with view, it has a spacious sitting area that has a glass wall to allow you to enjoy and take in the view. It offers tasty and fresh food, in addition to numerous restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially the front desk staff member has left me an excellent experience with her courtesy and friendliness. Its customer service is top notch. Highly recommend.

Great hotel!
The hotel is beautiful. They have free wine/beer tasting in the afternoon. The food is good and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

A/C and Valet awesome
Great place A/C works nice Fast room service. Nice Upgrade. Love how they have a separate area for valet. Very Nice. Will be back.

Had a great time in savannah, only disappointment was the bathroom at the hotel
Ask about the size of your bathroom, they have some that are a 7'x4' with the shower 4'x4'. We've stayed at this Hyatt 4 times before and never had this problem. Our window looked out at the elevators.

Amazing hotel
The hotel was amazing. The views are stunning. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean.

Quick Getaway
Location was very convenient to the Riverwalk. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were cordial. My room was comfortable, although the interior rooms made it difficult to prepare for the weather. The parking fees are too high for the guests and the texting option was a bit impersonal.

Delighted by the Hyatt in Savannah
Clean hotel. Excellent location. Staff was very friendly. We had a great time seeing the sights of Savannah but also just hanging out in the beautiful lobby area we felt like we were visiting with friends in our own space.
