Awesome Hyatt Hill Country Vacation
This was our first time to San Antonio and we will definitely be back to the Hyatt Hill Country. This was the ideal family resort that had awesome amenities, great food options, and a fantastic staff! Upgraded to a hospitality suite, it’s well worth it!
Beautiful family resort
Beautiful property. Lots of activities and amenities. We loved all the trees over the lazy river. We travelled with teenagers and they were not too excited by the waterslide which was very slow (great for all the little kids),but they loved the rest of the water activities and the FlowRider. FlowRider does require reservations and is an extra fee. We enjoyed Antlers restaurant.
Great family vacation
We had an amazing time at Hyatt Regency Hill Country in San Antonio! The resort is beautiful, the amenities are fantastic, and there’s so much for the whole family to enjoy. The kids had an absolute blast, and we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the entire experience was wonderful. Definitely one of our favorite family getaways! We can’t wait to come back!
Fun resort for families and kids
Wonderful family and children resort. So many fun things for just about everyone in your group. Hotel is clean, restaurants offer wide variety of food, at reasonable prices. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Self parking is easy too! And staff was pleasant, kind and helpful!

Wonderful experience
We had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort! From the moment we arrived, the service was wonderful. Asia at the front desk made our check-in experience welcoming and seamless. We also had fantastic service from Anthony at Charlie’s Restaurant inside the hotel. He was attentive, friendly, and helped make our dining experience even more enjoyable. We also spent time outdoors at Aunt Di’s, where Miss Patricia was our bartender/server. She was absolutely amazing! Her warm personality and excellent service really stood out and made our experience special. The only hiccup during our stay was with the golf course. Unfortunately, due to the rain conditions, there seemed to be some miscommunication between the pro shop and the starters regarding when we could return to finish the remaining nine holes. There was also a tournament scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM, which made the timing even more difficult. Ultimately, no one could give us a clear answer on when we would be able to finish our round, so we ended up requesting a refund. Aside from the golf situation, our overall stay was wonderful. The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the hospitality we received from Asia, Anthony, and Miss Patricia truly made a difference. We would absolutely stay at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country again and hope to return for another visit!

Good experience!!
Great resort and very relaxed! The food was very delicious, good quality for breakfast. Location is convenient. Room is comfy and clean

It impressed
Did not enjoy my stay at all, very dissatisfied with the staff, the bed and the construction directly outside my villa . The property is large , lots of activities and it’s maintained well. The grounds are beautiful and the spa was beautiful . Though the overall experience was lacking

It's alright...
They have most of the lagoon roped off for paddle boats nobody uses. Parking lot attendees will legit make you move your car a few spots becuase they're on power trips. Everything is expensive. For a bit more I'd perfer the JW.

New Villas are amazing!
Stayed in the new Villas, excellent! We normally stay in a suite but we were offered to uprgade to one of the new Villas near the spa and couldn't be more happy. We'll be doing it again!

Fun, Relaxing & Well-Kept Resort
We had a great time enjoying the lazy river and activities throughout the day. The only downside was the connecting room—we could hear the guests next door very clearly, which made it difficult to fully relax at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! On another note-The scent throughout the resort was truly one of a kind—it smelled luxurious and expensive! I asked the gentleman at the front desk, and he shared that it’s Windflower with a hint of mesquite. Apparently, it’s made exclusively for the hotel, which is such a shame because I would absolutely love to have this scent at home!

Great Staycation!
Great experience overall for our staycation. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING! The lagoon was nice, but staff could be a little more accessible at the cabanas for the price. Pool area and lazy river were great for the teenagers.

Our Favorite Place
The Hyatt Regency Resort and Villas is one of the best experiences you can ask for. Customer service, amenities and quality are wonderful. Such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We have been going for over 20 years and it's still one of our favorite places to go!

Improvement
Upon arrival there was only one restaurant near to grab a bite to eat which was closing within 10 mins so host directed to another, it was raining outside and he couldn’t really direct us other than to step out which we approached a puddle of water, almost slipped and got soaked before having to attend our meeting the next few hours. Disappointed as it appeared to be a nice and accommodating resort but was not.

Lazy River is a Bust
Floater beware, they have limited inner tubes for the lazy river and you have to "fend for yourself" when one becomes available. People were hoarding inner tubes for themselves, which ruined a large part of this experience for us as it was a primary reason why we picked this hotel in the first place. Also, don't go expecting a calming, quiet environment because there are tons of young children (around 7-9 yrs old) who were staying up past midnight.

great family escape
Great overall stay! The suites are large, beautifully decorated and well furnished. We loved that we could get a connecting queen room to accommodate our family. They even granted our request to have all our rooms close together, which was wonderful. We utilized breakfast and lunch and cocktails by the lazy river and it exceeded our expectations each time - for portion size and taste. They provided pack and plays (with sheets!) and box fans for each of the 3 rooms. The entire guest services team and bellmen each provided an excellent experience as well, even finding a screwdriver for us to use to install batteries for the bubble machine. The water was nice and cool, entirely shaded at the river. The Big Spring is sand and sun with some umbrellas. The lazy river tubes were on the smaller side, kind of deflated, and not very plentiful, leaves and acorns were everywhere, but maybe its because its at the end of the season. The spa pool was a beautiful shaded escape for adults, worth the $20 upcharge, IMO.

Best resort!!!
We absolutely loved this resort! Every single employee was helpful and on top of their jobs. You could tell that they took pride in their work and the hotel property was gorgeous, up-to-date, clean, and so much fun! There was so much to do! My kids are 18, 12, 10 and 5 & every single one had a great experience. The lazy river and lagoon were the top activities, we never felt like we needed to leave the resort. The breakfast was top-notch, and our food by the pool was delicious. The front desk, valet, groundskeepers, everyone was amazing! We can’t wait to come back!

great stay at a great resort
everything was top-notch including the fireworks! highly recommend if you have children. very family friendly! not sure we would change a thing!

There are better options in this city.
This was our 4th time at this resort and it’ll be our last. The staff was nice but the hotel is starting to age. The beds were horrendous and we were woken up on a Saturday morning at 7am on the dot by yard work. The elevators are slow and very hot. The new pool is shown to be massive but actually only a small portion is available to explore as the rest is roped off for paid activities that no one was doing. Also no shade there. Won’t be back; there are better resorts in San Antonio.

Texas FUN
This was such a beautiful relaxing place. If you are a water person there were great hot tubs, pools, lazy river and a gorgeous lagoon to enjoy! I always love staying at this resort.
