Luneta Park
Also known as Rizal Park named after National Hero Jose Rizal, it is a historical urban park located along Roxas Boulevard and adjacent to Intramuros. Site of the Rizal Monument, which is designated as the country’s Kilometer Zero marker for distances to the rest of the country. This 58-hectare (140-acre) park is the venue for the annual Independence Day (June 12), Rizal Day (December 30) and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
