Lovely stay
The beds are really comfortable, staff very friendly and rooms exceptionally clean. Food was good and service was excellent.

Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel, rooms and breakfast are fabulous, friendly and helpful staff, would fully recommend! Location is on the edge of town but in easy walking distance or a short taxi ride.

Excellent business Hotel
Excellent Hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and all the rooms are to a very high standard. The breakfast is very good with lots of vegetarian options and to a high standard. The lunch for vegetarians isn’t always great but with a little tweak they could get that right. It was just that often there wasn’t anything to accompany the pasta, rice suitably for vegetarians e.g. when they served couscous, there was no sauce to go on top but if you had chicken fish or red meat with couscous the meal worked very well. This was just a common problem with the vegetarian option. Often the vegetarian option didn’t have a sauce that could go on top of it. So, then the vegetarians are limited to just the salad which made the food very dry and unappealing.

Lovely, spotless hotel, wonderful reception team but food/drink very poor and poor value
The hotel is wonderfully clean, bright and airy, with some very pleasant communal areas including the lounge and bar. Our room was lovely and spotless, and the en-suite shower in particular was excellent. We were also very warmly welcomed. The reception team, and those working around that area, were professional, helpful and incredibly friendly throughout — bravo to the reception team, as we genuinely couldn’t fault them. Unfortunately, the food was by far the weakest part of our stay and, for us, significantly let the hotel down. The evening menu was very limited, particularly for anyone not wanting meat, and the descriptions gave little indication of what would actually arrive in terms of portion size or value. My teenage son chose the vegetarian aubergine dish which, while tasty, was frankly an unacceptably small portion for a main course — really not far off starter size. We then had to pay extra for additional food simply to make the meal substantial enough for him. At the prices being charged, I would expect both better choice and much better value. Sadly, the evening meal left us sufficiently disappointed that we decided not to stay for breakfast, and the food offering alone would make us think twice about returning.

An Exceptional Stay From Start to Finish!
Every aspect of our stay was truly exceptional! From the warm welcome, and the gracious staff who allowed us an early check-in, to the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms, the delicious breakfast, and consistently helpful staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We have traveled extensively for sports and for vacation and have stayed at many wonderful hotels, but our experience at the Hyatt Regency Manchester was, without a doubt, one of the best we have ever had. The entire team went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester!

Comfortable hotel but had to queue to sit down for breakfast
Very comfortable hotel, everything top quality- but a queue for breakfast made me a bit late for work. Staff were showing people to tables - which was completely unnecessary and slowed things down. There were signs in the lifts saying there were queues at certain times for breakfast - but this is unacceptable- there has to be a better system to make sure all the guests staying are able to sit and eat when they come down for breakfast.

Great hotel & location. Expensive breakfasts
The hotel is fantastically placed for gigs at the Academy. The rooms are pleasant and staff are brilliant. The only let down is the cost of breakfast compared to other hotels who offer the exact same range and quality.

Business traveller
Very close to University of Manchester main campus, a well laid out hotel, very good breakfast and has excellent and very helpful staff.

Graduation stay
Perfect location for University graduation. Decent breakfast buffet. Pricey but location was perfect, service was good, room comfortable.

Excellent hotel - some minor drawbacks.
Great hotel. Good location for the Universities. Bed was way too soft (not sure why) but after a couple of nights I adjusted fine. No spa or pool - could be the other only drawback. Excellent breakfast. I never got past the continental options. nesspreso in the room was welcomed. spacey and still new. would certainly recommend.

Graduation stay
The staff were incredible. We stayed for my graduation and we were very lucky to get upgraded to a quiet corner room, but the thoughtful card and slice of brownie were a beautiful and meaningful surprise! The staff member that checked us is (I did not get his name) remembered that this was this occasion we had stayed for and asked us about the ceremony on check out even thought they must see so many people, the fact that he had remembered was really lovely. All the staff we encountered during our stay are an absolute asset to this hotel, friendly and helpful.
