Firearms Policy

In an effort to maintain a safe and secure environment for our visitors, colleagues, and overnight guests, visitors who are not registered overnight guests, may not bring a firearm or ammunition onto the hotel premises, for any reason and overnight guests who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm may bring such firearm onto the hotel premises, subject to strict compliance with this Firearms Policy and all applicable state and local laws. Any overnight guest who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state, and local laws with respect to firearms in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located.

Overnight guests may carry or store their firearms and ammunition on hotel grounds only as follows:

  • Firearm(s) and ammunition may only be stored in the guest’s vehicle or hotel room. 
  • Firearms and ammunition inside a guest room must be kept out of sight and securely stored at all times when it is not being carried by the guest 
  • Firearms and ammunition may not be carried anywhere on the hotel grounds outside of a guest’s vehicle or hotel room, except when the guest is directly enroute to their vehicle or hotel room, at which times the firearm(s) and ammunition must remain fully concealed
  • Openly carrying a firearm or ammunition anywhere on hotel grounds is strictly forbidden.

Anyone who fails to abide by this Firearms Policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises. A blanket exception to the restrictions described in this Firearms Policy applies only to law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemption to this policy is allowed for private persons, even those licensed and permitted to carry a firearm, and/or where applicable, to conceal-carry a firearm.

Pet Policy

Be sure to bring your canine companion along next time you stay with us.

Pamper your pooch with a Hyatt vacation, and enjoy benefits that include:

  • Concierge assistance in finding nearby pet services
  • In-room welcome card and amenity for your dog.

Conditions:

  • Pet must be licensed and wear ID tags at all times in the hotel
  • Pets are not allowed in common areas, including the fitness center, gift shop, restaurants, bar or pool
  • Dogs must be on a leash at all times when in public areas
  • Dogs must be attended at all times, unless left in a kennel in the guest room
  • Guests must leave a cell phone number with the front desk so we may contact you if necessary
  • Guests need to call extension 56 to arrange cleaning time each day; otherwise, room will not be serviced by housekeeping
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. A designated dog walking area is available for guests traveling with dogs, complete with convenient, fully stocked clean-up stations.
  • Dogs must be settled in their guest room by 9:30 p.m.
  • Guests are responsible for all damage caused by their pets. After departure, any damages found upon guest room inspection will be billed to the guest.

Fees:

Hotels will assess a fee of $150 per stay up to six nights. An additional $150 deep cleaning fee is charged for 7-30 nights (total of $300). For over 30 nights, the charge will be at the hotel's discretion.

Weight Limits:

Dogs may not exceed 50 pounds each

Maximum two dogs per room, not to exceed total of 100 pounds

Package Shipping Policies

All guest and event packages being shipped to the hotel are handled by our in-house FedEx Office Business Center, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. To prevent routing delays, please address your shipment using the following labeling standard. Please use the name of a recipient who will be onsite to receive and sign for the package. Package deliveries should only be scheduled after the recipient has checked into the hotel.

Please schedule your shipment(s) to arrive 3–4 days prior to the event start date to avoid additional storage fees. Shipments are held for a limited number of days. If a package has not been picked up and no contact information is provided, the package will be returned to the sender, who will be responsible for all additional shipping fees.
