VAT Policies

VAT is not included in the room rate. The charge of 19% VAT on your stay applies to Colombians or residents of Colombia. To be exempt from VAT payment, you must show a stamp on your passport that corresponds to visitor status. This accreditation must be requested at the time of entry with an immigration official. If you use biometric verification, you must ask the Colombian Migration Office.

Companion Registration Hotel Policy

To ensure the safety and quality of the experience for all guests, it is mandatory to register any additional guests during the Check-in process. If they are not present at the time of Check-in, their personal information must be provided in advance for prior registration.

The admission of new or unregistered additional guests during Check-in will not be permitted. In accordance with Colombian law, additional guests may only be registered if they present the required legal documents. Hyatt Regency Cartagena reserves the right to refuse the registration of additional guests who do not meet these requirements or are not properly registered at the time of Check-in.

Pet Policy

Daily rate per pet: $95,200 COP per night (VAT included) or its corresponding value in USD according to the exchange rate on that day.Weight limits: 17 kilograms (37.4786 pounds). A maximum of two pets per room is allowed, whose combined weight cannot exceed 22 kilograms (48.5017 pounds).

Maximum number of pets is 2.

Minors' Identification and Authorization

For minors you must present a valid registration document (identity card and civil registration) and, in case of not staying with the parents, you must present a written permission, which must be authenticated and notarized.
