  • You Won't Be Disappointed!

    Although I’ve stayed at this Hyatt before, this experience surpassed all of my previous Hyatt stays. Everything was outstanding, but here are a few highlights: Exceptional Staff Responsiveness The attentiveness of the staff was remarkable. For example, I requested a package delivery, and Ana was at my door almost before I hung up the phone. I also asked for a microwave, and within 10 minutes, a young lady from housekeeping arrived with one. Every interaction I had made me feel like my needs were a top priority. Genuine Hyatt Membership Appreciation At many properties, recognition for membership feels limited to a “thank you” and two water bottles—which is nice, but minimal. This property went far beyond that. The breakfast options provided made me feel truly valued as a Hyatt member. I’ve never felt such appreciation for my loyalty before. Impeccable Cleanliness I never walk around hotel rooms barefoot—especially not in the bathroom. However, the room here was so spotless that I felt completely comfortable doing both. The level of cleanliness gave me peace of mind and added to the overall comfort of my stay.

  • Disappointing

    The only advantage to this hotel is its location, next to a metro station. I was there for three nights. My room was only serviced the first night. No housekeeping after that. Not all electrical outlets worked. Staff at front desk was largely indifferent. I stayed at this hotel a number of times pre-pandemic, and it has gone way downhill.

    Dear Debra, I am so disturbed reading your feedback. We offer daily housekeeping, and unless our guests request no service, that is the minimum we can do while you are staying with us. I apologize profusely that this should not have happened. I have spoken to our Housekeeping Director, expecting an answer on how we missed your room. I have also pointed out the non-working electrical outlets to the Director of Engineering to ensure they are corrected. Thank you for taking the time to write your comments and make us aware. I apologize for the bad experience, and I hope you give us another chance.

  • Location and comfort allin one~!

    The hotel was con viently located to the Metro allowing me to get everywhere I needed to go without a car or using uber,it was great! Hotel condition, staff and Starbucks on site made the stay even more enjoyable.

  • Perfect location.

    Great location in downtown Bethesda with Metro next door for easy access to the DMV metro area. Very walkable to shops and restaurants, rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Overall , a great weekend stay!

    Beautiful hotel with amazing staff . Had a great time with my family. Wife loved it, kids loved it. We are going to be going back.

  • Frustrating Check-In and Poor Service

    As a globalist, our experience at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing from the start. Check-in was slow because only one front desk staff was working, and with four guests ahead of me, it took about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, my husband was waiting in the car with our children, but there was no help with luggage and no proper place for guests to wait. The valet attendant was visibly annoyed and asked him to move the car. My husband decided to self-park in the garage, and I planned to meet him there. However, I couldn’t find any signs from the lobby directing me to the parking garage. After wandering around, I gave up and returned to the lobby. Eventually, my husband had to come up and get me himself. When I mentioned this confusion to the front desk, they admitted the signage was unclear. To make matters worse, the room key didn’t work. I asked for a replacement, but the second key didn’t work either. I called and was told someone from maintenance would be sent to help, but after waiting five minutes with no response, I went back down to the front desk only to find they hadn’t even contacted maintenance yet. Ultimately, we were moved to a different room, but it was a smaller than the original room. Overall, the lack of organization, unclear signage, and poor customer service left us feeling frustrated and unwelcome.

    Dear Valued Guest, I apologize for your less-than-perfect experience at Hyatt Regency Bethesda. We value your feedback and will re-evaluate our signage to ensure it meets the needs of our guests. The front desk usually has an agent and a Manager on duty; it is really unfortunate that you found the desk not properly attended. I also apologize for the room key not functioning properly. This is an isolated situation, as we truly don't experience any guest room keys. All around it seems to me that we completely dropped the ball in impressing you and creating a welcoming arrival experience.   • Great Stay.

    This hotel is beautiful, and in a perfect location. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants and the metro is right downstairs.

  • Good hotel, great location

    I stayed in a corner room on the 11th floor. The room was a nice size; but the bathroom door hit into the toilet. The internet wouldn’t connect to WiFi on my last two days so I couldn’t get work done. I loved the location being within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Really hated there was no pool.

  • Great place to stay

    This hotel is very nice and staff are extremely accommodating. Location to the metro is a bonus and the Starbucks in the hotel was amazing. I also loved the ice and water refill stations on each floor. Washers and dryers available for guests.

  • Business Trip

    My room had a great room from the balcony and really enjoyed my stay. Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. The area was quiet as well and with all the different groups that were there, you didn't hear any noise when you slept like most places I have stayed at.
