Exceptional Hospitality at Hyatt Regency Baku
This is a great place to stay. The hotel is a bit worn out. Everything else, including staff attention, customer service, access to a luxury World Class gym, breakfast, and parking availability, was excellent. The pillows were comfortable, and staff were going out of their way to make sure all their guests' needs are met or anticipated in a speedy manner.

Amazing Stay, variety of breakfast items.
We had wonderful experience in this Baku Hyatt Hotel. The staff was amazing, the room was clean, they gave us high floor, and they sent fruits in our room. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. The bathrooms, SPA , (steam room, sauna and swimming pool) were open longer so we could enjoy them. honestly, it was money well spent.

An excellent hotel
An excellent hotel with large, pleasant rooms, comfortable beds. The hotel itself is spacious and luxurious, and the breakfast is excellent. We paid for lounge access, which was definitely worth it; The hotel is located about an 8-minute drive from the city center, but taxis are readily available and very cheap (7–12 NIS via Bolt to central locations in Baku). The highlight of the hotel is the amazing service provided by the entire staff—at the entrance, reception, dining room, lounge, and elsewhere. They were always available, responding quickly to any request or issue, always with a genuine smile and great courtesy. We travel frequently but cannot recall experiencing this level of service anywhere else.

Excellent hotel with great service from the doors where you will want to return again
As a returning guest, I was very pleased to come back and once again enjoy the positive experience I have come to associate with this hotel. The check-in process was extremely smooth and efficient. The Front Office team was clearly well prepared for my arrival, with all the necessary documentation ready in advance. This made the process effortless and, more importantly, I immediately felt genuinely welcomed and recognised, both as a Globalist member and as a returning guest. These small gestures of recognition and personal attention always make a meaningful difference. Throughout my stay, Katerina at Reception was particularly helpful, attentive and caring, always ready to assist with any request and making sure that everything was taken care of. Breakfast was once again one of the highlights of my stay. It was a real pleasure to see Chef Naila at the egg station. She remembered my preferences from previous stays, including my choices depending on whether I came for an earlier or later breakfast. This kind of personal recognition is exactly what makes a returning guest feel at home. I also had the opportunity to try several dishes from the new menu at Mezzo. They were delicious, beautifully presented and very well balanced in flavour. Chef Zargalam was once again at the top of her game, personally checking the meals during service and making sure that everything was prepared exactly as requested. I was also very pleased to discover that Mezzo now offers themed evenings with specially designed menus. I was fortunate to attend an evening dedicated to Southern Spanish cuisine. The chefs offered a wonderful selection of bruschetta with Spanish delicacies and specialities, followed by freshly prepared paella. The food was cooked at an open live-cooking station in the garden lounge area, with Chef Velikhan and Chef Zargalam preparing dishes for the guests. This made the evening particularly enjoyable and created a much more interactive dining experience. Compared with my previous visit in early April, I could clearly see a significant step forward in the overall food concept. It was especially nice to see the chefs bringing creativity and personality to both the menus and the dining experience. This is a very innovative and modern approach to traditional hotel dining and, in my view, adds considerable value to the guest experience. Some of my mornings were also brightened by the special attention of Chef Ali, who was as enthusiastic as ever about preparing my preferred omelette and personally serving it at my table. The waiting staff were equally a pleasure to interact with. I was particularly happy to see Ms Saadet and Ms Aytaj again, as well as to meet newer members of the team, including Ms Saba and Mr Natiq. Their friendly and attentive service contributed greatly to the overall experience. I also had the pleasure of meeting the new F&B Supervisor, Mr Shahriyar, who was consistently attentive and caring whenever I visited the hotel's F&B outlets. Together with Mr Nijat and Mr Asiman, the entire F&B team demonstrated a very high level of attention and genuine care towards their guests, including myself. Overall, I could clearly see the progress that has been made since my previous stay. What impressed me most was not only the quality of the food and service, but the genuine effort to personalise the guest experience. For a returning guest, being remembered, recognised and cared for in such a natural way is extremely valuable and is one of the main reasons I look forward to returning again. I was genuinely touched to find a welcome card personally handwritten by the hotel’s General Manager, Mr Orkhan. Such a thoughtful gesture made me feel truly valued as a returning guest. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank him personally for everything he and his excellent team do to make their guests feel welcomed, recognised and cared for. Furthermore, during my stay I had the opportunity to witness how efficiently and seamlessly the hotel team managed the simultaneous check-out and check-in of a very large group. What impressed me particularly was the teamwork: regardless of their individual positions or departments, staff members came together to support one another and assist the group throughout the entire process. It was excellent to see such genuine cooperation and team spirit in action. The way everyone worked together demonstrated a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility, and the results were clearly visible in how smoothly such a demanding operational situation was handled. It was a great example of the positive team culture that has been created within the hotel.

I would like to thank all the staff for their hospitality and for their wonderful and kind treatment of my mother. Better than expected
Everything was better than expected I booked it in hurry but to my surprise it was worth everything. Big property like resort spacious rooms and lobby. Ease of moving around. Overall I think that was my best decision. I will stay again if I visit Baku.

Big room and great hospitality
Very nice hotel and great staff. Special mention to Ms Irada from checkin team. Big rooms compared to other hotels in Baku. A bit away from city centre but good for a night or two if you are staying when coming from Gabala/Shahdag and going to other location next day. Indoor and outdoor pool available. Good restaurants nearby.

Perfect stay (again)!
I would really like to stress just how perfect my stay was - I cannot praise the staff enough for their attentiveness, speed/efficiency at carrying out any requests, pre-empting requests, politeness, appearance, just everything about the staff was excellent. The hotel was spot on - fabulous room, again, I could not ask for anything more, except to wish I was not only staying for business reasons and had time to just stay and enjoy myself for selfish reasons! I can and do recommend the Hyatt to anyone I know travelling to Baku - it is a convenient location for my works office, but there are other hotels nearby that I could say the same for - however, none offer the service or comfort that I get from the Hyatt. If I have problems with a hotel, I will vote with my feet and not return - with the Hyatt however, I make it a condition that if/when I am asked to return to Baku, that I stay at the Hyatt, or I do not go! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Feel welcomed at home
I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Baku many times, mainly because my job as a pilot keeps bringing me back. Each visit reminds me why this hotel is so special. The staff, from reception - to housekeeping, are fantastic - they combine genuine warmth with real professionalism. I especially want to thank Seymur, - Ilkim, and Rashad at reception - each visit, they make me feel truly at home with genuine care, respect for privacy, and a personal touch that stands out. They strike a wonderful balance of warmth and professionalism. The rooms are spacious, the facilities - like the gym and pools - are excellent, and although it’s a bit outside the city center, it’s more than worth it. I can honestly say the Hyatt Regency Baku is one of the best hotels - if not the best - in the city.

my best birthday experiece
The staff was amazing. The surprise birthday cake and the singing were the highlights for me. I even got emotional as it felt like home. Wish I had a long mirror though, in my room (club access). The rooms are neat and comfortable The gym manager Aterm, was also very welcoming and gave me a mini tour and offered me a protein shake as my birthday gift.

Worst ever staff behavior
It was my worst ever experience in any 5 star hotel especially Hyatt. The front staff was very rude and also downgraded benefits. There was a good hint of racism as well.

However, I regret to inform you that we reject the provided accusations with regards to wrongdoing and unprofessional behavior encountered by you while interacting with my colleague at time of check in and the next day(s). My colleague Ms. Irada Kerimova has been with our hotel and company for 21 years. She is highly valued professional with strong background of leading her team towards service excellence. Our guest survey scores are the proof of the customer service culture in our hotel. Most of our guests appreciate enormously the way she treats them and the service provided by her. The fact that she agreed to extend the flexibility of keeping Suite room for your friends despite the fact that Amit Gupta who booked the room physically has not arrived and who was solely entitled to the benefits of the Globalist tier of our loyalty program, and awaiting for his arrival which never took place in the duration of your stay, is another vivid testimony of her hospitality and professionalism. In the provided feedback of yours whilst describing my colleague's attitude as unwelcoming, accusing my team not maintaining the respectful and inclusive environment because of nationality and background, you have neither indicated nor described the situation that could have provide clear evidence of such conduct. You have not raised the concern with Global Consumer Affairs during the stay, no you have brought this matter to the attention of one of the Senior Executives of the hotel. If I, personally did not know each of my colleagues with strong background of hospitality, I would concede to such possibility and most definitely take corrective disciplinary actions. Our hotel and our colleagues are genuinely welcoming and have great sense of respect and hospitality to all our guests without borders. We have been accommodating large number of guests from India for the last decade with great warmth, empathy and huge respect. Although, my colleagues have encountered few cases of disrespectful behaviors towards themselves, they remained focused on high quality customer service. I wish you and your beloved ones the very best in year 2026 and let it bring more joyful days, happy moments and prosperity. Old rooms but very clean and lovely staff members
My stay was amazing only because of the staff members there. They do fabulous jobs when it comes to housekeeping and customer service. I was disappointed the instant Ek entered the room as the rooms looked worn out. But than what made my three days stay with fam pleasent were staff memebers and the neatness of the property.

Great staff and amenities
Hotel is quite well maintained and Club room was quite spacious with Regency club in front of the lifts. Staff is very friendly and they gave us complimentary upgrade and early check-in.
