    Austin

Waited for 1.5 hours before we could finally get into our room. Check-in was at 4 pm, but our room wasn't ready until 5:30. No amount of free stuff can make up for being late to our dinner reservation,

    Stay for Austin City Limits

Excellent location for Austin City Limits. As an Explorist level member, we were granted early check in (2:00) and late checkout (3:00!), which was perfect for our agenda. Communication with staff (via text) is very convenient. Gym/Pool/Hot Tub area are excellent (exceeded expectations); Pool was on the cold side, but that was welcome on a hot weekend. Loved that the pool was in the shade till noon (we got enough sun at the festival). Food service at the pool/adjacent bar/patio area was excellent, and reasonably priced (mushroom quesadilla/taco appetizer dish was excellent).

$75 for valet parking and $18 for a cocktail is an absolute insult.

Honestly, for what I paid for an updated, but otherwise standard, Hyatt Regency room for one night, being asked to pay $75 for valet parking and $18 for a cocktail is an absolute insult. Especially because you already had me for a $400++ per night room. I understand your corporate and business customers can expense these exorbitant fees, but I took it as an insult and have ZERO plans to ever revisit your hotel. We're from San Antonio, and we could have revisited more often, but not anymore. I have Titanium Elite status at Marriott and should never have stayed at a lesser property.

    Unbeatable Stay in Downtown Austin!

Absolutely wonderful stay in downtown Austin, and only steps away from the Town Lake Trail. Pride & professionalism radiate throughout: the facilities & furnishings are maintained in like-new condition; the staff is absolutely top-tier in professionalism. And the cocktail lounge overlooking the river is the best!!

Last Stay at Hyatt! Never again!

The location was great; however, I did not get the room I originally booked (booked regular room - I was put in a handicap accessible room). The room layout is terrible, small closet, very small desk/table, and a stationary chair as a desk chair. Very uncomfortable. Also, the buffet was on the order of getting a Holiday Day Inn Express free breakfast, but it cost $34 per person, with an automatic 18% gratuity! The service wasn't great either, as I had to call the servers over at least twice to have them refill my coffee. Poor facility! And they do not provide an free water for the room.

    Conference Stay

Centrally located. Able to see the bats from the hotel. The hotel rooms were great, Ripple & Root bar and food offerings were delish and staff was willing to go above and beyond.

An oasis in the middle of this fascinating city- one that has grand views inside and outside. Great location. Don’t skip the walking trail and the bat bridge.

Bats and Beauty - What More Could You Want?

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, and the bat cruises depart from just behind the restaurant! Quiet in the rooms despite the hustle and bustle and well set up for large group gatherings!

    Hotel restaurant experience

Everyone was friendly and courteous, but the food prices are way too high. A 10 oz ribeye for 60 plus dollars (way more expensive than Ruth Chris) and a $22 burger with no sides included and among other items are price way to high . In my opinion the food options are not reasonable and respectfully that is distasteful. At one point I left the hotel to find food

    The best!

We have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Austin many times over the years, and there are two people who truly make this hotel feel like home to us: Eli and Pablo. Eli, the Guest Relations Manager, is simply exceptional. He has been there for so many of our special moments—birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, and most recently, a very meaningful trip celebrating the end of a cancer journey. He always goes above and beyond to make sure every stay feels special. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care are things you just don’t find everywhere. He remembers what matters to us and somehow always finds a way to make each visit even more memorable. I honestly cannot imagine staying at the Hyatt Regency Austin without Eli there. He is so much more than a concierge to us—he is one of the biggest reasons we continue to come back. I also want to recognize Pablo at the front desk. Anytime we see him, he greets us so warmly and makes us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrive. He is professional, kind, attentive, and always makes sure our stay is impeccable. He is truly a wonderful asset to the Hyatt. Hotels can have beautiful rooms and great locations, but people are what make you loyal to a property. Eli and Pablo are those people for us. They have turned ordinary hotel stays into wonderful memories during some of the happiest—and most meaningful—moments of our lives. I can genuinely say that we would not continue choosing the Hyatt Regency Austin if it weren’t for people like Eli and Pablo. They change the entire experience, and Hyatt is incredibly fortunate to have them. Thank you, Eli and Pablo, for always taking such wonderful care of us and for making us feel so special every single time we visit. We appreciate you more than you know and look forward to seeing you on our next trip to Austin!

My Favorite Hotel Experience in the USA

My family traveled to Austin to check out the bat experience for my kiddos 9th birthday. This hotel is in the absolute perfect location! It is beautiful inside and out! The staff is amazing, the pool is so nice, the placement next to the walking path and Lady Bird Lake is breathtaking! Beds are incredibly comfortable and if you have the cash or points to upgrade, get that balcony!!!!! The Austin skyline is a delight to drink a beverage of choice with your loved one and just be.

Default Austin Hotel for any occasion

Amazing location, tucked away from the hustle of the city on the river next to the jogging path. Ripple and root surprisingly served authentic Mexican food. Pozole and entire menu was delicious. Rooms were clean. Valet was quick, convenient.

Amazing New Remodel with Matching Service

HRA completed their complete remodel and it is amazing. As a globalist front desk recognized my globalist status with a suite upgrade. Brooke at the front desk communicated via text before my arrival and asked if I had any requests. Absolutely amazing service. Thank you Brooke! New bar is designed perfectly and overlooks Lake Austin with indoor outdoor service and easily connects pool to service/restaurant/bar service.

    Business Hotel - Too expensive

The location is decent. A short walk across the bridge into town. But for the money, room rate. This is a conventionish hotel. Way too expensive for the offerings. Room was smelling of coffee with a big wet spot near the bathroom. Very loud until late at night due to the lobby bar set and open set up. Major construction in the lot - not their fault - but a major issue with noise.
