We had a wonderful visit to the Hyatt Place Rouen. The hotel is very clean. The rooms have comfortable beds and pillows and our room also had a comfortable couch. The staff is helpful and Mehdi, at the front desk, was especially kind and helpful when the train system shut down for a day and the buses were completely full and we needed to leave early to make our connection. We are so grateful.

This hotel is beautiful. They did a great job renovating and repurposing this building. The staff is amazing and the amenities are great. Definitely on my list to go back to. Easy to walk to the center of town. We walked and used Uber.

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood and it’s walking distance from the city center. The personal is well trained , warm and helpful. The hotel is in a superb shape since it seems to be new. The building is preserved in a magnificent way. The restaurant was a great and positive surprise. The food quality and taste was excellent.

Fantastic stay at a spacious and friendly hotel, with great views. It’s a great overnight stop over when travelling from the uk. The 12noon checkout was great too, as it gave us time to explore the city before leaving.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Place Rouen for nearly a month, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I travel frequently for both work and leisure and stay in hotels around the world, so I've experienced every level of hospitality. Without question, Hyatt Place Rouen stands out as one of the hotels with the very best service I have ever experienced. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, well-designed, and very quiet. Since I was working remotely during my stay, having such a peaceful environment was very important to me. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every interaction I had with the team was warm, genuine, and professional. They consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and after only a few days they remembered me and always greeted me with a smile. Their kindness and genuine hospitality transformed what could have been just another hotel stay into an experience that truly felt like a home away from home. The restaurant was another highlight. The breakfast offered an excellent selection each morning, and I also enjoyed several dinners there during my stay. The quality of the food and the consistently attentive service made dining at the hotel a pleasure. As well, I had the opportunity to use the spa, which was a wonderful place to relax. The location is another major advantage. It's within easy walking distance of Rouen's historic center while remaining in a peaceful setting, making it easy to explore the city and then return to a relaxing hotel. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hyatt Place Rouen to anyone visiting Normandy, and I already look forward to my next stay.

A 20 minute walk from Centre-ville, the Hyatt Place offers a modern well-designed facility with parking and a good restaurant as well as an outdoor balcony for enjoying leisure and views. Despite excellent restaurant service and quality food, the front desk reception is disorganized and would benefit from a warmer hospitality and culture of service. Suggest to ask for details about access to restaurant at check-in and to confirm your requests for housekeeping service or lack thereof. English skills were variable; smiles were in short supply at reception except at night.

The hotel’s location is superb, with its elevated setting providing beautiful views across Rouen. Every member of staff was helpful, and the reception team in particular stood out. The restaurant menu is fantastic, without doubt the best I’ve had at any Hyatt. The head chef has crafted something unique, and the restaurant staff were incredibly knowledgeable. During our 10‑night stay, we enjoyed the restaurant so much that we ate there most nights. It’s popular, so booking ahead is recommended.

Clean and modern hotel ,approx 2 years old within a 15-20 minute walk of the city centre with its many cafés, restaurants and shops ,the amazing Cathedral etc. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful .Clean and comfortable rooms .We enjoyed a pleasant meal and drinks on the hotel terrace which overlooks the city as the hotel is perched high .There is a coffee machine ,safe and fridge in the room .Have to ask for milk .Did not use the spa but although cost extra ,it seemed a fair price for two €20 .

Excellent hotel. The building was extraordinary. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Our room was spacious and clean.

Very nice hotel and staff; we did not use the spa facilities. Easy access to central Rouen. The breakfast was delicious. We had a bigger SUV so parking was a challenge but not bumps or bruises on the car.

All was good and as per my expectations. Location is very close to the bus public transport for city tour or train to Paris.

I had my best sleep of our vacation at the Hyatt Rouen. I love the Hyatt bed and pillows and I really needed a good nights sleep. The location is also nice--up on a hilltop so you have a great view of the city. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in the city or Rouen.

Beautiful hotel that is in town- but about 20 min on foot to the main center. Easy to walk in- but a good hike back up a hill. Took a taxi back after dinner so as to not walk that hill in heels. Great room and attentive and kind staff.

The Hyatt Place Rouen sits overlooking the city with spectacular views. The layout and design of the lobby/bar/dining room are lovely. The room, oh my! I had heated towel rack in the bathroom. I loved the bathrobe and slippers, just wish I had more time to spend at the spa. The bed was so luxurious. I am accustomed to free breakfasts at Hyatt Place Hotels in the US, the breakfast there was about $21 USD.

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Rouen Hyatt Place. The hotel was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception were all extremely helpful, friendly and polite. We were able to walk into the city centre to enjoy the sites and to eat dinner. On our return we had a drink ion the bar - the bar staff were very friendly and efficient. We were given a complementary room upgrade as it was my wife's Birthday, which was very kind. The room was decorated with balloons and a plate of complementary small cakes - delicious! The room was spotlessly clean with a view of the city, coffee machine, nice bath tub and shower. The bed was very comfortable.

Brilliant hotel, clean with superb facilities for an enjoyable stay, great food and accommodating staff. The hotel is out of centre but is on a main bus route (Service F1) straight into the tourist sites which are all within easy walking distance from the stop at Hotel de Ville. Could not be easier and you will avoid city centre traffic and parking issues. The food in the restaurant was superb with the breakfast buffet one of the best we have experienced in this of France.

Lovely hotel. Food is very good, and I had a massage at the spa, which was very enjoyable after a few weeks of traveling. The only reason I did not give the hotel a 5 is because the location is a little off the beaten path. I would stay there again, though.

Beautiful hotel - easy access and parking, and great views over Rouen. Our room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Super comfortable bed! The breakfast option was extensive with something for everyone.
