Great value and exceptional service
Location is a little out of town but the shuttle is available to MRT station. Pet friendly rooms available. We requested for a twin room but was not available so we ended staying in one of the pet rooms. Good value, clean and staff was very helpful. Rooms were well thought of and planned with clothes line, towel racks, grab bar, mat etc. Very useful for long stays and coffee available at the lounge. The food court nearby offers unlimited food options.
Excellnt stay in this hotel
House keeping and front desk have been very helpful. Very well. Their feedback are all considered promptly for family with toddler. The hotel is very clean and neat. Also with transportation bus available to recent department stores and MRT.
Comfortable Stay with Helpful Staff
The hotel is located slightly on the outskirts of Taipei, but there is convenient access to nearby public transportation, making it easy to get around. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was excellent, and the concierge staff were friendly and well-informed. The room was spacious, and I always felt comfortable and at ease whenever I returned from outside. Overall, I found the hotel to offer good value, with gym amenities and pool out during current season is open. Cleanliness is good, however, some towels are tattered, it can be request to change. Noise level is low, as the area is more peaceful and with residential area. There is a nearby big mall with supermarkets if need pickup any extra or souvenirs.
A Subpar Hyatt Stay
I am writing this review in the middle of my stay, which is likely to coincide with the anticipated impact of Typhoon Bavi. As a precaution, I asked whether the hotel was prepared for the typhoon- for example, whether any of its dining facilities would close if the local government were to issue a "no-work no-school" order. The front desk staff simply replied that he was not sure whether the hotel's restaurants would open because they are operated independently. Sadly, it was also apparent that the front desk staff neither knew the answer nor made any effort to find out for me. This is my third stay here over the past few years, and each visit has been for multiple days. My impression remains the same: some of the front-line staff are not particularly helpful and are often unable to provide adequate information in response to guests' questions, which suggests inconsistent and insufficient staff training. Another example occurred when we were away from the hotel and called to ask about the shuttle bus schedule and pick-up location. The staff had no idea and were unable to provide the information. Otherwise, the hotel itself is decent, with excellent, clean facilities such as a gym, a swimming pool, a water dispenser, and, in particular, self-service laundry machines. The room is well designed, albeit a little too minimalist. The location, while not exactly in the middle of nowhere, requires some form of transportation, with the nearest MRT station about a 15-minute walk away. That is why providing accurate shuttle bus information is especially important during the summer. Apart from a shopping mall, there are no nearby attractions, as the neighborhood is an industrial area. Another thing to note is that this hotel accommodates many tour groups, which may be an important consideration depending on your preferences.
Positive but needs attention
Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Clean hotel. But missing some basic conveniences like offering bottled water, providing an ATM in the lobby, and notifying customers before they book that there is no pool access until May.
Wonderful
A very nice hotel that fit our needs for a longer stay. The cost was economical and facilities were nice! We were able to get daily breakfast as globalist which was appreciated- food selection was better than expected, some food items tasted better than others. The coffee shop in hotel was also a nice perk, coffee was great there, got it on multiple days. Rooms were modern and clean and appreciate that there is a water machine on each floor that allows us to refill our water bottles daily. There’s also a common area room which contains an ice machine (which as you may know is rare in Asia!), a kitchen area with a microwave, and also a coin operated washer/dryer. The only downside is the hotel is a bit farther from the city center and it’s a bit of walk to the nearest MRT station, but they do offer a free shuttle service to the station which I really appreciated. The staff here were all very friendly and helpful and responded to our needs promptly. Overall we had a really nice stay here and would recommend!
Lovely stay. Will be back again
Nice and clean hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly too. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to a nearby mall too. Highly recommend :)
New Tiapei Work Trip
Excellent location! Super friendly and helpful hotel staff. Recommend the breakfast buffet if you are limited on time or if you are not.
Another Wonderful Stay
We really liked the location—it’s close to my sister’s house, near the highway, and convenient for shopping. The shuttle bus to the nearest subway station was very helpful. The staff was friendly, breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean, and the parking lot was a good size.
Bad for families
The hotel room is quite small, and they don’t adhere to the World of Hyatt upgrade policies, even minor at-discretion upgrades are offered at additional costs. Moreover, the staff lacks empathy towards families traveling with young children. While it might be acceptable for solo travelers who don’t have hotel status or benefits at other chains and are willing to walk a considerable distance to reach the MRT station, it’s not ideal for families with children.
Perfectly located
This hotel was perfectly located in a safe, clean and well appointed location. Close to transportation, food and shopping. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful to guests needs. I would highly recommend staying here.
Budget Hyatt option
10 mins walk from airport MRT. Road is not the easiest for a baby stroller but mostly ok. Breakfast is not offered as part of the standard package. Ok choice if on a budget and looking to earn some points. No Hyatt recognition. Pool is closed in October despite the humidity and temperature over 25C.
Proximity
Good location as it is next to my client office within 10 minutes walking distance and close MRT lines and train to station to airport. ,
Nice hotel but....
Nice hotel, modern and clean. Staff is very polite. Breakfast choice is plenty but local food mainly, would be nice if they could have more western food available. Sound insulation needs more work as i could hear the child next door screaming and crying, especially when they went out to the corridor, there is hardly any sound insulation at the door.
Great for solo!
Clean property, size is just right. Hotel is easy to navigate to nearby convenience stores and restaurants. Hotel representatives were attentive to your needs and is able to offer help whenever you need.
Wonderful Stay at Hyatt Place New Taipei City Xinzhuang
I had a truly enjoyable stay at Hyatt Place New Taipei City Xinzhuang. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering a nice variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation. It’s a perfect base for exploring both New Taipei City and downtown Taipei. Overall, the combination of great service, comfortable rooms, and a good location made my stay exceptional. I will definitely return on my next trip to the area. Highly recommended!
A great hotel brand in an amazing new city!
Location is central of Xinzhuang a brand new city very impressive! There’s shuttle bus every 30 minutes to local spots and MRT. Upgraded room amenities. Great services and very clean!
comfortable and pleasant stay.
Room and toilet is spacious for our family of 4. Location is good. Got a mall about 7 min walk away. Also not too far a drive away from Xi men Ding.... Overall is good but a pity not much local food choices around the area, felt more like the CBD district.
Amazing stay at Hyatt Xinzhuang
The only downside is its not in the Taipei city center, but its just a short cab right away. Also there was a mall nearby that had Haidilao and alot of food options nearby. Breakfast Buffet was a good spread! Salad, yogurt, chinese noodles, egg station, etc. You're bound to find something nice to start the day! But! The rooms were big. Thank you for the free upgrade, new and the most comfortable bed! Also loved the toiletries so thank you! Will definitely consider staying at Hyatt Xinzhuang again.
