It was horrible I'll never book with them again. My room was never clean while I was there tv didn't work phone in room didn't work.

Bathroom had mold/mildew and dirty washcloth left in there. Front desk staff was not the most helpful. This is my first time not having a good experience at a Hyatt hotel.

A decent hotel with a decent breakfast, However, given the Hyatt name, I expected better than decent. To this extent, I was disappointed.

Terrible stay..short staff, dirty pool and deck. Garbage sitting in hallway and food on floor and elevator. Room was nice but no pillow selction, only huge and fluffy, no firmer choice. Wont stay there again!

We stay exclusively in Hyatts. This was our fifth and final Hyatt of our recent road trip up and down the East Coast - me, wife, and three young kids. The hotel looks great from the outside - new, even (it's not). Upon entering and saying to the front desk clerk "checking in", the young man said something along the lines of "nope, not here" and motioned for me to walk out of the hotel - and I almost did from that greeting alone. Then he told me the adjoining rooms we were told we'd have when we called earlier (and called World of Hyatt months ago to make a note on the reservation) were not available because "the air conditioning unit was damaged the night before." So, a terrible greeting followed by bad news, with no adjoining rooms offered to us as replacement. I asked to speak to a manager, outlined our issues. She was professional and apologized, gave us 5,000 points (one room was 6500 points), and some snacks. We only stayed because we had already unloaded the car. We ended up with two rooms on the same floor down the hall from each other. One room they gave us was handicapped accessible, the other a standard 2 beds with a couch. Both were fine. Hotel was quiet enough minus the room doors slamming. No airport noise was a bonus despite it being an airport hotel. Looked like there were shuttles for use to airport. Breakfast was good in the morning. Around 9am there was an onslaught of housekeepers on the guest elevators. Thought that was kind of strange. Check out easy. I probably won't be back to this Hyatt.

The staff was pleasant and the room was clean as well as comfortable. If you're staying in Roanoke, I'd recommend it. The location is convenient if you have a car.

They did not have enough cribs, even though they were requested at booking. The one they did have, which was rickety, they expected that I take up to the room with 2 toddlers myself. Their solution for the lack of cribs was to have my one year old just sleep on a sofabed. Ended up having to go to the store and buy a second crib for the same price as the room. The bathroom was also not cleaned well, and it was so awkward that you basically had to step into the shower to even get the door closed to use the toilet. I’ve stayed at other Hyatt Place locations with my kids and had a great experience, which was the primary reason I booked this one. I absolutely will not be booking this again and definitely would not recommend it to families.

The rooms are clean and nice but if you like firm pillows bring your own. Staff very friendly. Beautiful views. Hotel had a beautiful lobby. Unfortunately the pool wasn't working 😕 would have been nice. Breakfast was okay not the best but good for free can't complain. Overall great hotel great stay.

The front desk staff employees are AWESOME ! I traveled to Roanoke recently to teach a Mail Carrier Academy class and had an issue trying to book online. The operator wouldn't/couldn't set me up with the Government rate so I went to the Hyatt in person and they were more than helpful when finding a room. A+ from this teacher :)
