Hotel was clean. Beds weren't overly comfortable. Service was good. Would stay here again in a pinch but it just lacked that overall Hyatt experience

This Hyatt was right off I-295 and consistent with the standards of the Hyatt brand. I called to request a first floor which was honored. The room was spacious and most importantly clean! Breakfast was ok with warm selections of bacon and scrambled eggs. The coffee was good 👍 I really like the free water Hyatt provided because after hours of driving I am always very thirsty.

As a World of Hyatt Explorist member, I have stayed at many Hyatt properties, and this was easily one of my most disappointing experiences. The biggest concern was the visible mold in the bathroom. Mold in a guest room is unacceptable and a serious cleanliness and health concern. The room also had stains on the carpet, couch, and appliances, peeling wallpaper, visible drywall repairs, and a toilet-paper holder that fell off the wall. The phone in our room did not work, so we called the front desk from our cell phone to request towels and toilet paper. We were told the hotel had run out of towels and were delivered blankets instead. However, after speaking directly with a housekeeper, towels arrived within 10 minutes, which made the front desk’s response especially frustrating. The gym was also filthy, with cups, used towels, water bottles, and headphones left throughout the area. The treadmills were extremely loud and sounded like they had not been properly maintained. Even the exterior of the property looked dirty and neglected. Overall, this hotel was nowhere near the level of cleanliness or maintenance I expect from Hyatt. I sincerely hope management takes the mold and the overall condition of this property seriously.

LLocation was absolutely perfect. The room was good, though the mattress had definitely seen better days. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel, and breakfast was everything expected or even better.

My family recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Jacksonville St. Johns Town Center while moving our daughter into her dorm. The entire experience was fantastic. Moving a kid into college is a busy process, but the staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were really impressed with the food options as well. Everything was fresh and exactly what we needed after a long day. The property is very clean, and the location is incredibly convenient. The overall trip was great, and having a reliable place to relax made a huge difference. Highly recommend.

Location was great. Many things in walking distance. Nice hot breakfast with variety. Room was clean and spacious Gym had decent equipment

Always friendly staff and clean facility , breakfast has many choices and kept full and warm , front desk has complimentary razor if you forget one !

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is exceptional. While I had minor issues, the location made up for the minor technical issues with the hotel and room.

I love staying at the Hyatt Place. The location is close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was in Jacksonville for a month due to visit my ill father and checked into this hotel for their outdoor pool since I had two of my young children with me. Although the pool was often overcrowded, it was clean and nice. This was the only positive experience of the hotel. Half of the staff seems burned out, to the point where making requests as a guest felt burdensome and inconvenient. The hotel is outdated and worn down, the breakfast offered in the morning is nice/ fresh but the breakfast area to eat is too hot to enjoy your food…these are things I can typically overlook but I felt like this hotel was trying their best to put profit above guest experiences. I stayed for 10 days and requested over 3 times for my sheets to be changed in the room and floor to be vacuumed. I couldn’t get housekeeping to accommodate this reasonable request once, although it was promised with each visit to the front desk. My children’s feet would turn black from the carpet if they did not keep their shoes on in the room. I got some tired of asking for my room to be cleaned properly and sheets changed I left a day and a half early just to get away from the hotel. Another issue the hotel needs to address is that there is a large parking lot in front of the hotel for guests that the nearby restaurant and cigar lounge visitors use at their convenience. This is the only parking for hotel and if you arrive late in the evening you will not find a parking spot. The hotel has automatic gates in place but I assume this is another thing management does not want to invest into maintaining at the expense of guest satisfaction. I was pretty disappointed in my stay here, and will make sure to never choose a Hyatt for a hotel. I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Jacksonville for two weeks prior to this and had absolutely no issues with anything, and I truly regret moving hotels to try this pool out.

Jacksonville I come from out of town to go to the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville and this hotel has treated me very well and they're not far from the location.

We enjoyed our quick overnight stay. We were meeting family in the Jacksonville area so we made a quick beach trip out of it as well. Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good as well as the wings and burger we had for supper. Next time we are in the area we will stay here again.

Staff was amazing , rooms and bathrooms were super clean , the pool was super fun and clean. Highly recommend this hotel !!

I have stayed here multiple times over the last two years when visiting or dropping off my son at college at UNF. I also stayed here with several other family members and friends and got a room block and a great rate back in October of 25'. The staff was welcoming and could certainly handle a large crowd. I will continue to stay here when I visit.

Always a wonderful experience staying here. Staff is fantastic. Convenient to shopping and Mayo Clinic. Affordable, conformable rooms. Well managed!

Great hotel, perfect location, overall wonderful stay. Had many family and friends stay and we always found a place to hang out and visit. Room was a great size and beds were comfortable.

Nice area. Tons of restaurants. View from patio was beautiful. Shopping had a nice variety of shops. Rooms very clean. Liked the decor of room.

This hotel is really the best! Great vacation spot. Walking distance to so many restaurants and store, great pool and beautiful patio overlooking the lake with rockers and outdoor couches. The staff is top notch too! Housekeeping, the breakfast crew and the front desk- all really friendly and helpful! Second stay here and this time had to leave a review- really great experience!

This hotel is in a great location-- walkable to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent-- fresh and a wide variety. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are very neat and comfortable. Amenities were above and beyond-- the best one being the large deck facing the beautiful lake, complete with couches and rocking chairs to watch the birds frolic. Would definitely visit again!

Beautiful and Clean. Great breakfast options. My son highly recommends the has browns. great location too. Right beside of food and shopping all walkable. Only 15mins from the beach
