At Hyatt Place Iowa City / Downtown, our event spaces have everything you need to host a seamless conference, seminar or brainstorming session. LCD projectors, screens, flipcharts, easels and whiteboards are available to ensure your meeting is successful. Meeting Place 1 Gather in our hotel’s 1,104-square-foot room, and host up to 100 guests, depending on layout. Meeting Space 1 is ideal for small celebrations, brainstorming sessions or larger meetings. Audiovisual equipment is available. Meeting Place 2 With 575 square feet of versatile event space, this intimate room can accommodate up to 40 guests, depending on the layout. Meeting Space 2 is outfitted with LCD projectors, screens and whiteboards. This venue is perfect for training sessions, board meetings and small gatherings.
