Wonderful stay
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great stay at the Hyatt! The gentleman who checked me in was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I forgot his name, but his customer service was definitely appreciated. The location was perfect, especially since the hotel was directly across the street from the venue we were attending. Traveling with someone who has mobility issues made that convenience even more valuable. The hotel is a little pricey, but you are definitely paying for the convenience and location. I didn’t get a chance to explore the other amenities because we were pretty much in and out, but overall, I had a very positive experience. I would absolutely stay here again if I needed to be in the area!

The hotel was exceptionally maintained and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was amazing for things to do in the area in a walking distance.

Review of Hyatt Place
front desk is not helpful. Parking is horribly expensive. Bldg needs renovation. Was extremely disappointed. No one even offers to help with luggage.

Location, Location, Location
Great location to see all the downtown experiences after work. Everything was in walking distance. Weather was great, food, bars, historical buildings were all a block or two away. Huge venue to watch games, concerts, etc was across the street which was also really convenient.

Very pleasant central U.S. location & facility for staff training
I was here on business... a training and educational meeting with members within our national staff. The facility has a convenient location, pleasant atmosphere, and clean & quiet rooms. The fitness/gym equipment was in top notch condition. The elevators were smooth, quiet and functioned flawlessly. The hotel staff was always quick to offer assistance and provide suggestions for area restaurants, shopping and local points of interest.

Ssssshhhh. Don’t share this hotel
We’ve stayed at many Hiltons and now have confirmed Hyatt is just a step ahead. Comfortable rooms. Fresh foods for breakfast. Helpful staff. Great location. And just a great vibe. What more could you ask for?

Stay here if going to Gainbridge!
If you are going to Gainbridge Arena you must stay here! Right across the street! Rooms were very nice! Exceptional resturants within walking distance! Sign up for valet and breakfast and it is the least stressful stay for an even! We will be back!!!

GenCon 2026
This hotel has been home away from home for the last three years when attending Gen Con. My wife and I have also stayed here outside the normal vacation season to take in an Indiana Fever game as well. Everything about this place well worth the price and this place is one of the most affordable for the bang for your buck.

Hyatt Place Indianapolis - Buzzing entertainment area
This Hyatt is located in a very "buzzing" area. It is directly across the street from the basketball arena and there are wonderful restaurants all-around, within walking distance. My stay was quite comfortable, but some people I was traveling with were affected by the noise post-games and the street noise well into the nighttime hours. If you're sensitive to noise, I'd bring a sound machine OR request a room that doesn't 'face' the street/arena.

Great location right in front of the Indiana Fevers court. Breakfast was awesome. Valet parking was fast and always available

Location is great, but sleeping is a gamble. Car noise was constant as well as tire screeching throughout. Clean hotel and friendly staff

Hyatt House Hopeful
The hotel and rooms were nice. The hotel has a great daily morning breakfast buffet. The hotel is also within great walking distance of many shops and restaurants downtown. My room faced the street so it was a lot of late night noise of people outside talking, cars/ motorcycles with loud engines, and cars blasting loud music up until 3-4 AM some nights. However, the staff at the front desk was rude and unable to assist with my needs, management was not helpful at all, and sales department caused me to accrue unnecessary charges due to errors with billing on their end.

Convenient location
Very very clean and modern, friendly staff, welcoming environment. The room was so inviting and comfortable. They stay was very nice. The hotel was very close to the event I was attending. Located near lists of restaurants and shopping. I’ll stay here again.

Perfect Location
Nice hotel, clean & spacious rooms & directly across the road from Gainbridge. We came for a Fever game, parked once & were able to walk to the game, two restaurants & an escape room in our 36hr trip. This is our second year staying at this hotel & will not stay anywhere else when coming to town to watch our Iowa girl, Caitlin Clark!

Indy 500 Weekend
We were there for the Indy 500 so the hotel was packed. The staff was universally lovely and welcoming. Room was very nice, very clean, comfy bed and we loved overlooking the Gainbridge Center. Lots of fun places in walking distance. And the coffee and the breakfast area was great!
