Destination Fee

For bookings May 1st thru October 31st, a daily destination fee of $10.00 (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide the following services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Pet Policy

Dog Policy

We are happy to welcome dogs at Hyatt Place Dewey Beach. However, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing cats or other animals, as only dogs are permitted on the premises. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. 

Weight Limits

We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room.

Fees:

$100 per dog for a stay up to seven nights

$100 Seven to 30 nights plus (Additional $100 deep cleaning fee)

To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, following the departure of a guest and their dog, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep-clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens; we also fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable dog/cleaning fee to the account during check-in.

Guidelines for Dog Owners

Please note, dogs are not allowed in the condos. All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Dogs are not allowed in the food service areas or the pool. Your dog must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room, or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.

Minimum Age Policy

The minimum age to reserve a guestroom is 18 years old. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.

Credit Card Policy

A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $50 per night for incidentals.

Debit card users: There is a $50 per night authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur, including but not limited to food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a “pending charge” and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within seven to 10 business days after check-out, depending on your banking institution.

Smoking Policy

Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment.

There is no smoking allowed in public areas of the hotel or the guestrooms.

The hotel will apply a $250 tax cleaning fee to any guest room that violates this nonsmoking policy.

We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Please visit the Host Stand for details.

Outdoor Pool Policy

The outdoor pool at the Hyatt Place Dewey Beach is an amenity for guests staying in a condominium accommodation. Guests who book a standard guest room will not have access to the outdoor pool.
