Recent stay in Northern VA
Excellent stay for a special event. The facility is clean and well maintained. Our room was clean , spacious and comfortable. The workout facility was well equipped and maintained well, I would have liked a few more options available for breakfast as I do not eat eggs but that is not a big deal. Finally, the staff was wonderful from checkin to checkout.

Overnight Stay
We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Place Chantilly/Dulles Airport-South. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient for our family trip to the Washington, D.C. area. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which made getting started in the morning much easier. The location worked very well for us, with convenient access to the places we wanted to visit while still being away from the busiest parts of D.C. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
Good value and great location
This hotel is only a few miles from Dulles Airport and directly off of Rt. 28 which leads to all WDC destinations. Close to shopping and restaurants. It's clean and comfortable and quiet! Pleasant staff and breakfast buffet is decent.

No complaints here at all!
Great location. Super kind staff and the hotel is very well kept both inside and out. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as well!

Good Stay
Good Experience. Hotel was clean, and beds very comfortable . Breakfast had a decent variety of hot items . Staff was friendly.

Good overall.
Close to airport, average breakfast, but most important clean. I didn't realize beds aren't always Queens if not King size, ended up with two full beds but we made due with those.

Disappointing Early Check-in experience
I arrived early and asked if they had rooms available for early checkin to take a shower before having to leave for conference at noon. At 11am a room became available. The staff and then the manager said their policy is to charge $50 early check in fee before noon. It did not cost them extra to give me the room. I do not get a refund if I check out early. Despite being a Hyatt member for over 3 decades, there was no exception. Very disappointing.
Family sporting event trip with dog
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. We traveled with a dog and they made that easy

Excellent place
Perfect place to stay when visiting the Chantilly area. The hospitable staff makes you feel welcome with lots of places to eat within walking distance.

not Hyatt quality
You will need to go elsewhere for breakfast. The breakfast provided was limited and awful unless all you want is cereal or oatmeal. No central air so you had very noisy room units

Good hotel with great service
Within a ten minute uber ride of the Dulles airport. Located in a green spot reasonably quiet. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, though showing age. Definitely good value for money. The staff was very cordial and helpful. The room and hallways were clean. This hotel does not have a shuttle service to the airport, discontinued from May 2025. I recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hyatt place in Northern Virginia
This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price point and the tier of Hyatt Hotel. The hotel appears to be very well run. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was good. Location is excellent. I would definitely return.

Great location, good value, clean and cheerful space.
Traveled to see family and attend a wedding at a nearby church/reception at nearby resort. Hyatt was conveniently located for visiting national parks in Manassas and Great Falls, attending wedding in Chantilly, and enjoying easy to and from Dulles. It was a fraction of the cost of nearby resort hotels and had the added benefit of breakfast included. The room was spacious enough for a 4 day stay. Once I figured out the local highways, it was clear that that location was ideal for both Northern Virginia suburbia and a jaunt into the District. Front desk were cheerful and helpful with finding a local lap pool for this dedicated swimmer.

Great weekend stay!
Convenient location with free parking, clean and modern hotel with ample outlets and usb ports in spacious rooms, included reliable wifi, good breakfast, family friendly but not overrun with rowdy kids - we were only there for a couple of days to visit family and we greatly enjoyed our stay, would stay there again, and recommended it to other family members already.

Pleasantly Surprised
Convenient location and good business traveler hotel amenities at a great rate! Complimentary breakfast was an unexpected benefit with the usual options plus very good coffee with real half-&-half (a must for me) at no additional cost.

Best Business for me in Chantilly
Great place for business in Chantilly and next to stores and restaurants. Quiet with great wifi, and a staff always willing to get you what you need.

Stained toilet after housekeeping
I requested housekeeping, and when I returned to the room after it had been serviced, the toilet seat was stained. At first, I was concerned it may have been feces or dry blood, but upon further consideration it appeared more likely to be a coffee spill. Regardless of the source, the room had been serviced and the toilet should have been clean. Because my daughter was asleep in the room, I was unable to go to the front desk that evening. I cleaned the toilet myself so it could be used. The following morning, I went downstairs and showed a photo of the stained toilet to the front desk staff. Returning to a room with an unclean toilet was upsetting and created an unsanitary experience.
Perfect overnight getaway
Wonderful hotel and in walking distance of great restaurants. Clean and modern. The staff was very helpful. Perfect pricing too.
Hot Chocolate Station
It's wonderful to see how such a thoughtful amenity can transform a hotel stay!
