The Hyatt Place is situated nicely and with good walkability. No complimentary parking here. Breakfast was exceptional.

No worries when staying here
You will find a very clean and modern hotel when you're staying at the Hyatt downtown Grand Rapids. From check-in to check-out all the staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, well maintained and come with a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The shower has great pressure and hot water!! The hotel serves breakfast in the morning that has quite the variety. There is something for everyone. We drove up from Indianapolis and friends drove in from Detroit, making the hotel a perfect meeting place for our long weekend. We visited the Fredrick Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park and the Gerarld Ford Presidential Museum while in town and both were a short drive from this location. The hotel is within easy walking distance to a number of really good restaurants in the downtown Grand Rapid area. There's a bar area right around the corner from check-in and in the evening we found it to be a great place to play cards until late into the night. Bar staff was incredibly accommodating and took great care of keeping us "hydrated". A parking garage is immediately available and you can access the hotel lobby from the 2nd floor of the garage. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed for maintenance while we were there, otherwise there are so many good things available to you when you stay at this location and I highly recommend it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nice hotel- excellent location
We had a great experience at Hyatt downtown Grand Rapids. Customer service was great- very accommodating. Breakfast is delicious. Very good location- close to restaurants and DeVoss Place.

We had a great experience at the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids. Everything is walking distance. The city is clean and safe. The hotel was great, the beds were amazing, the breakfast was good. We will stay again.

Great Guest Service Very Close to the Devoss Center
Very pleased with our stay. We knew exactly what to expect from the Hyatt Place brand and it over delivered on guest service. Emma at front desk was so kind and thoughtful. Great recommendations for restaurants in the area. A stones throw from everything including the Devoss Center a couple blocks walk. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Exceptional staff

Such a pleasant stay!
This Hyatt is right downtown. Perfect location and very walkable, esp during Art Prize! It has a good vibe and atmosphere, and the parking garage is attached. Our bed was so comfy we easily fell asleep. Great breakfast buffet included, too! Definitely would stay again!

Great place to stay
Great hotel. Beds/sheets super comfortable. Great shower. Room very quiet. Super friendly/helpful staff. Great location. Walkable to many restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Grand Rapids Hidden Gem
The hotel is in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids which is indeed a great location. The hotel has a nice size pool and workout room. Covered parking is available.

Nicely located hotel but things to be aware of
The Hyatt Place Grand Rapids Downtown was a well located and clean hotel but the bed pillows were small and not comfortable, the breakfast was poor, and the road noise kept me up at night even while in room high up on the 11th floor.

Average at best.
Average but could be good with improved maintenance, cleanliness and a little more attention to World of Hyatt benefits. It checks the box for a quick layover stay but misses on maintenance (furniture trim taped, shower doors that don't close, rattling ac units, dirty floors and lobby floors in the lobby. They are missing the mark on any attention to detail when it comes to cleaning, scents, and overall image.

Love this hotel
Great hotel and staff. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable and great downtown location. Very walkable to many sights and restaurants. Easy parking in the ramp.

Will stay again
Great location 10 minute walk gets you to most venues. All staff I encountered were helpful. My Ottawa St side room had great views day or night. Noise level was less than if you were on the main street. Theres a bar, small food menu, breakfast. Small pool. No office center. Garage Parking is good until 6pm day of checkout.

Great Location, Great Place, Excellent Service
Stayed here for a wedding nearby. Hotel was in a prime location, staff were excellent, rooms were clean and was able to secure early check-in and a late check-out as a Globalist. Would definitely stay here again.

Solid stay in GR
Great stay in Grand Rapids for a concert. The staff are incredibly friendly. The walls are rather thin, so perhaps bring ear plugs if that bothers you.

Good times in Grand Rapids
My wife and I stayed here after major storms in NW Indiana caused a power/internet outage at our summer home. The Jordan was great in helping us with an extra office chair in our room so we could work during the day. In the evenings we explored the immediate downtown Grand Rapids area. There are many great dining options and some incredible early 1900's architecture. We really enjoyed or stay and are grateful to all of the staff members including Kaylynn, who made a potentially stressful time easier for us. Thanks!

Hyatt Place in the Heart of Grand Rapids
The Hyatt Place is a nice and well-maintained mid-grade hotel in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. It is walking distance from most major venues. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have sensor lighting as well as switches. Most have a seating area, bed, and desk and are a bit larger that standard rooms. There is a free breakfast, an evening bar for cocktails, a small snack shop, and ramp parking for $38/night (with in and out privileges). There is the normal noise of a hotel situated in an urban center, some traffic, occasional sirens, but overall, peaceful.

Good place to stay if visiting Grand Rapids
Cute little college town. There are a couple of homeless people wondering the streets, but all in all a cute quiet and historical looking town. Hotel was great! Clean and well taken care of. Staff was helpful.

Great downtown stay
Excellent location, friendly staff and comfortable room! Would not hesitate to stay again when we are in the area. The breakfast was above average too which was a nice surprise!
