Wonderful Staff, Great Location, and Meeting Space
Location, location, location! The hotel was perfectly located and very close to the Colorado Convention Center, which was incredibly convenient since my team and I were in Denver for a conference. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay and meeting experience enjoyable. We especially appreciated all of the support with our meeting space. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re attending a conference or looking for a convenient and comfortable meeting space for work.

Great value
Great staff from check-in to checkout, rooms are nice and clean, would recommend. The staff was excellent from check-in to check-out, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place

Good choice

Great hotel to stay at for a week
Great stay, the rooms are very comfortable, with a great view, and the staff was great. The hotel is located close to 16th Street, with lots of fantastic restaurants and bars close by.

I had a disappointing stay that fell well short of what I expect from a Hyatt property.
I had a disappointing stay that fell well short of what I expect from a Hyatt property. On arrival I was reversing into a space at the entrance so I could check in without blocking traffic. A valet employee approached my passenger window and knocked on it, telling me I should not be parking there because another valet was writing down information on a different vehicle. I told him I was aware of that employee and that the other employee was aware of me, and I asked him to step clear of the vehicle so I could finish reversing in. He replied that if I kept up that attitude he would not park my car. I again asked him to move out of the way. After I reversed into the space and got out, he approached me, said he would not be parking my car, claimed he was not a hotel employee and could refuse service, and demanded my keys. I felt intimidated by the interaction. I reported this at the front desk. The receptionist went out to speak with the valet and returned to apologize. When I later asked the valet again to park the car, he still refused. The receptionist then told me the valet was a third-party contractor and that there was nothing the hotel could do. I ended up parking the car myself. Separately, when I checked out around 6:30 a.m., a Quran was left out on the front desk in plain view of guests. Everyone is free to practice their own beliefs, but I do not think a religious text should be displayed like that at a hotel front desk by staff. I found it inappropriate and offensive in a professional guest-service setting. Overall, the valet confrontation and the hotel’s inability or unwillingness to resolve it, plus the item left on the desk at checkout, made the stay unpleasant. I would not stay here again on the basis of this experience.

Bronco game weekend
Excellent place to staff with the friendly staff. Location is fantastic. Rooms and public areas are extremely well maintained. Highly encourage you to stay here.

High quality service with smiles all around!
The hotel was very clean. I didn't hear any sounds coming from the hallway or in any adjacent room. The staff was very courteous. Each interaction included a warm smile and a desire to help. I accidently left my jacket in the bar area and the next day it was ready for me in reception! I was very comfortable with the entire hotel experience.

Hyatt Place Hotel - Downtown Denver
I stayed at the Hyatt Place Denver, which seems to be the same building as the Hyatt House in Denver Downtown. My experience was good overall, with our room being clean and having a generous amount of space. The location was good, being a few blocks from the convention center and also the main downtown Mall on 16th Street. We were also close to the government buildings and not far from the Denver Performing Arts Center. The breakfast was ok for the most part, but seemed limited from what I have been used to during past stays at other Hyatt Hotels. If you are looking for a comfortable, well kept, clean and relatively quite hotel stay, the Hyatt Place would be a good choice to consider. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the lobby is welcoming and comfortable.

Amazing
Location was perfect! It was in walking distance to everything. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast fit all appetite needs. Highly recommend!

Nice and comfortable
The location of this hotel is great, close(two blocks away) to 16th street where the free busses run. I had a suite room on the top floor overlooking the capitol. It was lovely to watch the sunrise and the night lights. The breakfast is included, and it is delicious. They offer scrambled eggs, sausages, bagels, oatmeal, bananas and more. The nice thing is they also offer to-go boxes for anyone that is in a hurry. There is complimentary water bottle per night and cucumber water in the lobby. The pool and the gym are indoor and small and open till 9pm. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great accommodations, well located
Clean, spacious room, with sitting area. Well located, with easy access to the 16th St free bus line. Pool and fitness center. Spacious lobby area to congregate as well as dining for breakfast. Small bar had good selection of cocktails and wine. Daily breakfast (adequate, not fancy). We used local transportation so we did not park there. The price was reasonable.

No real cleaning is being done by housekeeping
The bedding sheets were stained, so we requested a replacement from the front desk. Although we were told it would be handled, no one came. The next day, housekeeping simply picked up the same stained sheet from the floor and put it back on the bed. The stain was still clearly visible, and there were hairs on the bedding after cleaning.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. I’m very sorry for the condition of your bedding and, especially, for the way your request for replacement sheets was handled. Being told the issue would be addressed and then finding the same stained sheet back on the bed, along with hairs on the bedding, is completely unacceptable and not the level of cleanliness or service we expect to provide. We are addressing this with our housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure concerns like this are properly followed through and resolved. Perfect for an escape from the HOT weather
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. The bartender is a lovely lady. Personable and pours great drinks (don't forget to tip her!!) Breakfast was good! Pool was great, fitness center open 24 hrs. So is the snack center. Great location too! It was so hot we never left the room during the day so at night the area was still alive and active. It was very nice.

Good Experience
Tha Hotel is good, the area is perfect, you can walk to different attractions and restaurants. The only thing I complain is about the Hotel Breakfast, is the same breakfast of a cheap Hotel.

Great hotel, but greatest first impressions began with the staff!
Jim R. and Brooks R. always went “above and beyond!” I honestly cannot say if they were exclusively concierges, valets, customer service pros, operations, building maintenance / engineering… because they were performing all of those essential functions and, BTW, were effectively putting Hyatt’s “best face forward” while doing so! Always! And always with smiles and with “motors” that wouldn’t quit… no matter how incredibly busy they were, nor being subjected to inclement weather. Total absolute assets to Hyatt!
