I'm a fan of Hyatt hotels but this was the worst Hyatt Place I've stayed at. I would not stay here again and only did so because hotels were sold out due to Chicago Marathon. The room and bathroom looked clean but the whole place smelled musty and stale which made being there uncomfortable. Maybe something in the carpets throughout? Thank goodness it was only one night as I switched to a different hotel in downtown instead. Worst part was that I left a brand new magic keyboard there and I called about it when I was still in Chicago but there was no follow up and then I had to fly out. Now I have to buy a new portable keyboard.

We were in Chicago for a concert at All State arena. The hotel is in a great location and walkable to the arena. There are some restaurants that are walkable as well. The front desk and shuttle team was efficient, timely and quick to respond.

Our four-night hotel was really disappointing. Housekeeping was really disappointing: not refreshing towels one day, never replacing coffee mugs or water glasses, and not making up the bed one day. WiFi was slow at a snail's pace ... reminded me of AOL communication days. Front office staff did no recognize my Globalist status. Two positives: comfortable bed and hot water worked well. Never return to this property.

We lost our flight and were stranded in Chicago, I looked for a nice hotel near the airport. We've stayed in Hyatt's and I assumed they were mostly the same, I had no idea World of Hyatt and Hyatt Regency were different. First, the shuttle isn't 24 or on a "call if you need" service, it stops at 10pm. So you are left with getting an uber/taxi, which for me in every large city is a horrible shady service, which is why I look for hotels with shuttles.

Long lines at font desk, only one attendant, no one answers phones, no water in the room during summer heat, breakfast was fine, facility just seems run down and customer service wasn’t rude just appeared overwhelmed

The hotel is in a convenient location close to the airport and retail and eateries within a few block walking distance. The check-in crew was extremely patient and friendly when we were easily 1 of 75 people looking for a room after flight cancellations. The rooms are generous in size and laid out well. Plenty of drawer space for clothing. The shower and bathroom was large and has a seating area in front of a large mirror. Lighting is good and bright.

Overall good place to stay with free shuttle for late flights and good breakfast Good amount of restaurants across the street.

By comparison to other Hyatt Place properties I've stayed at, this one is awful. It is old, tired and in desperate need of renovation. The staff are clearly unhappy too. There was no soap in the dispenser in the shower and you wouldn't want to walk on that carpet in your bare feet. Worst, I felt unsafe in a parking lot which relied on a weed and broken concrete filled adjacent property that is boarded up. I had no choice about parking my car there and was charged $19 for the privilege.

Hotel was clean. Airport transportation infrequent. This causes long waits and van to be full. Also creates a bottleneck at front desk when van arrives with 20 people. Had to take Uber from airport or wait 40 minutes. Unsat. Also, not recognized as a Globalist at checkin.

AC not functioning properly and the front desk staff not customer friendly. Older than described in official description.

Condition of the hotel was as expected. We ran into an issue of the AC not working in either room and unreliable shuttle service. Took over an hour for the shuttle to come, every other hotel chain had shuttles coming by us frequently. Since we had a bad experience with the evening shuttle, we decided to not risk it and pay for 2 Ubers to get my family back to the airport. Don’t stay here if you need shuttle service!

The hotel management is extremely poor. Breakfast is horrible. Worst still, there is no accessible room but only one accessible suite. Instead of giving it to wheelchair person for free, the hotel staff and the manager used predatory "upgrade" charges on disabled guest.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious and the beds are great. Breakfast selection is good. The only issue was the shuttle from the airport: they are not clearly marked and we ended up missing 2, giving up and paying a ridiculous taxi fare, it was very frustrating. On the way back to the airport we were able to reserve the shuttle and got to the airport in 5 min.

I prepaid for my stay months in advance but the property charged me again during check out insisting that it showed on their system that it wasn’t a prepaid stay. It took numerous calls to get it fixed.

Overall, a convenient location, though the shuttle only picks up every 40 minutes and the return trip route is convoluted., mixing drop off and pickup. Room was clean and bed extremely comfortable. WiFi was excellent. Staff were very welcoming and professional both on check in and check out. Hotel decor is dated. but clean and functional

I am a regular Hyatt customer and have stayed at dozens of Hyatt properties in US. This property didn’t meet my expectations due to two reasons. 1) The while non-asian employee working the checkout should be retrained on customer service. Go check the video or ask the other asian employee 2) The breakfast selection should be improved

Had a hockey game for business and brought my husband to make it a romantic get away We got in cut heat on at 4am and past out woke up to room freezing cold. by then it was too late to do anything about it room 825

The hotel is very well kept. It is close to everything especially the airport. They offer shuttle service and long term parking. I travel often and have been staying at this hotel and using their long term parking since last year and I love the convenience..

I stayed at the Hyatt Place Chicago O’Hare for one night before an early flight. Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay—nothing exceptional, but it served its purpose. The property does feel a bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable enough for the night. The highlight of my stay was the front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful during check-in and made the process of arranging the airport shuttle for the next morning quick and easy. The shuttle itself was convenient, but the ride felt a bit rushed. The driver was moving faster than I would have preferred, especially heading into the airport area. A more cautious pace would have made for a more comfortable experience. The hotel is very close to the airport, which makes it convenient, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. One thing to note is that the hotel appears to be connected to a neighboring building that is currently closed and in disrepair, which slightly impacts the overall impression of the area. Overall, a decent option if you need something close to the airport with a reliable shuttle and helpful staff.

This is the best place to stay if you’re going to a concert at Allstate arena or have a layover from O’Hare. They offer airport shuttle. The rooms are priced reasonably. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is always welcoming and friendly! They also offer complimentary breakfast in the morning. It’s my favorite place to stay when in Rosemont for concerts.
