Great Location!
Close to everything, clean, good breakfast and polite staff. We were given a local map at check in which was helpful for planning. I would stay there again.

A perfect hotel for the Mystic area.
Perfect location with spacious, very clean rooms that are well thought out in design, feeling like a mini apartment. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Has an easy effort parking lot with plenty of room. The hotel is affordable and a great choice in the Mystic area.

A great place to stay
Great location and the staff were very responsive. The rooms were very clean, the refrigerator kept things cold and best of all plenty of hot water in the shower!

Classy without being stuffy.
Classy without being stuffy, very accommodating, clean and welcoming. It was a great place ot launch a kayak journey, walk to the Seaport, head to the each, and just have a no-plans-in-advance couple of days off.

We like the location of Hyatt Place Mystic due to the atmosphere and proximity to all the places we enjoy visiting. The room we stayed in was clean and a good value for us. We didn't endure noise, service and amenities were great.

When Hotel Chains Care About Money vs. Customer
Planned golf outing with several friends and recommended the hotel. Made the reservation via their website using my iPhone and when I logged into my account it changed dates back the current date rather than keep the dates I had requested so I made the reservation at 7pm for that date not a week later and didn’t realize until the next that I had been charged full amount. I never received an email or app reminder that my room was ready like other apps (Bonvoy or Hilton for example) so I never knew of the problem until it was too late. Of course I contacted the hotel immediately and asked if they could reserve the room for following week as was my intention and credit the charge and they flatly said no without any attempt to help me, just took my money and said goodbye.

Good experience
Clean, well-maintained hotel. Breakfast always leaves a bit to be desired, but the staff was helpful and friendly. Would go again.

Clean and modern facilities with helpful staff!
Everything was perfectly clean and the staff was helpful for various family/kiddo needs. Reasonable restaurants are nearby too.

Shameful
We had to leave a day early because of family issues. No reimbursement or credit given. Shameful that big corporations just keep taking from working class families.

Great hotel.
Hotel was right in the heart of Mystic. Smaller hotel so only three floors not a lot of noise. Rooms were very larger and had enough room for a family of four with two kids. Very clean and price was reasonable. Continental breakfast had a lot to offer. Pool area was very clean. I highly recommend the Hyatt in Mystic CT.

Great Hyatt location
Fantastic stay at the mystic hyatt. Great location and equally impressive staff. Very busy but staff kept it going smoothly.

Great trip
Clean and comfortable. Great bed. All the extras you would need ( pool,breakfast, gym etc.) Near everything you'll want to visit in Mystic.

Great location good choice
I have never before stayed at a Hyatt Place (usually stay at Marriotts due to Bonvoy membership). We chose the hotel as we wanted to be near the downtown but did not want to pay 1000/night for a B and B. The Hyatt was clean, the room large, the breakfast decent for a free buffet. A little issue with the AC (room too cold). The location was awesome and the most important reason we choose it. Very close to the Aquarium. Also not too far a walk into town for dinner (1.5 miles). Sidewalks all the way.

Location and great customer service
Great location for visiting the US Coast Guard Academy while also experiencing the wonderful town of Mystic. Great staff here that are responsive and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Will definitely stay again.

Nice stay in a good location
Convenient location, decent amenities, very clean and nice property. Staff were helpful and accommdating. Appreciated that they had well posted quiet hours since there were lots of children on the property, but it was quiet at night. Very much appreciated!

Little gem in Mystic, CT
Very nice hotel located near everthing! Quiet, clean rooms, excellent breakfast (though just up until 9.00 am!). Includes nice amenities, though you spend the whole day out exploring the historic town and sorroundings. I would recommend the hotel, no problem.

Ok stay nothing special
Compared to my stays at other comparable places this was disappointing. Breakfast was a repeat - same scrambled egg and some form of pork/ham, no yogurt, limited bread selection. On top of that available until 9 on weekdays, with limited main seating and extra seating in meeting rooms with no proper setup. Rooms were disappointing, flush that didn’t properly work until tried 2 times, AC setting were wonky, cleaning was ok but inconsistent, bed space smaller as sofa took most of the space. One of the elevators was not functional while 5 days of the stay.

Like a Luxury Boutique Hotel for its Hospitality Quality, Just Hidden in a Corporate Hotel Chain Body
This may be a well run corporate mid-tier chain level of hotel but with the management and staff’s level of commitment to detail and care, it felt like a high level luxury boutique experience. This Hyatt Place Mystic should be a model for how to run other Hyatt Places. The bedding, deliciousness of breakfast, great layout of the room, and excellent level of detail the staff put in to being truly hospitable made this head and shoulders above other Hyatt Place experiences. The location just off I-95 but still off enough to feel serene was perfect. And you are in strolling distance to good restaurants. Ask the front desk for their list of suggested places to eat. It was a great list. We changed our dinner plans to Trattoria Amalfi thanks to that recommendation list and it was So Good! Also: this hotel keeps its outdoor pool heated to 85F plus open until 10 pm in the summer, their bedding is so comfortable, the landscaping is beautiful and the property is so well cared for. Whomever is in charge of this place is crushing it! I highly recommend a stay.
